DIVERSITY
OF
RELIGIOUS
BELIEFS!

America has diversity in religious beliefs. Today I was reminded that God
created all mankind. The diversity of religions makes me focus upon the fact
that God loves each and everyone, no matter their adherence to religious
affiliations.
I,
personally, can attest to the fact that a loving God through Jesus Christ
wants all people groups to come to the realization that “For God so
loved the world . . . ” (John 3:16, Bible Verse); thus, giving you and me
the privilege to some day enter heaven. While journeying toward heaven, the
nations of this world are, at the present time, experiencing untold upheaval
in the financial arena, etc.
I
recall, as a child, during WWII, my parents, devout Catholics, petitioned
the loving God in Heaven for protection and a sustaining power that comes
from above. Indeed, God gives wisdom to elected officials that have
obligations to its constituents and to the true God in Heaven. I Timothy
2:1-8 (from the Bible) speaks very profoundly to my heart.
I,
Johanna, shall continue to pray for President-elect Barack Obama and his
Family. (November 2008)
This Nation was founded upon Divine Providence; and, may the people in
leadership realize that any leadership must rule with God-fearing judgment!
May
“the Land of the Brave, and the Land of the Free” be indeed a free Land
that honors, respects, and realizes that God in Heaven sees every detail and
motive of every rule, no matter what position he or she holds.
Today,
November 18, 2008, I received an email message from a retired pastor. As a
matter of fact, several years ago I attended a website designer course at a
vocational school and the instructor was the retired pastor. Recently, the
retired pastor and his wife moved to another state. The profound email
message, that the retired pastor sent to me, reads as follows:
(“Since
the Pledge of Allegiance And The Lord's Prayer Are not allowed in most
Public schools anymore, because the word 'God' is mentioned... A 15 year-old
kid in Arizona wrote the attached NEW School prayer . . . )"
New
Pledge of Allegiance
Now
I sit me down in school
Where
praying is against the rule.
For
this great nation under God
Finds
mention of Him very odd.
If
Scripture now the class recites
It
violates the Bill of Rights.
And
anytime my head I bow
Becomes
a Federal matter now.
Our
hair can be pink, purple, orange or green,
That's
no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The
law is specific, the law is precise
Prayers
spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For
praying in a public hall
Might
offend someone with no faith at all.
In
silence alone we must meditate
God's
name is prohibited by the state.
We're
allowed to cuss and dress like freaks
And
pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've
outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible
To
quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We
can elect a pregnant Senior Queen
And
the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's
'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong
We're
taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.
We
can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study
witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But
the Ten Commandments are not allowed
No
word of God must reach this crowd.
It's
scary here I must confess
When
chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So,
Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should
I be shot; My soul please take! Amen
(November
18 and 22, 2008) Comments from Johanna:
DEAR
CHRISTIANS: WE LIVE IN PERILOUS TIMES! LIFT UP HOLY HANDS
AND PRAY! I DO NOT
PRAY ENOUGH, AND, PERHAPS, NEITHER DO YOU! CRYING TO GOD IS NOT AN OPTION,
BUT OUGHT TO BE A HOLY CALLING! REMEMBER, GOD IS A LOVING GOD AND DOES HEAR
YOUR PETITION! I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT, IN TIME,
GOD ANSWERS THE CRIES OF HIS PEOPLE!

SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE." . . . II PETER 3:9

GOD
BLESS
AMERICA
LAND
THAT
I LOVE
STAND
BESIDE
HER
AND
GUIDE
HER
THRU
THE
NIGHT
WITH
A
LIGHT
FROM
ABOVE!

FROM
THE MOUNTAINS
TO THE
PRAIRIES
TO
THE
OCEANS
WHITE
WITH
FOAM
GOD
BLESS
AMERICA
MY
HOME
SWEET HOME
GOD
BLESS
AMERICA
MY
HOME
SWEET
HOME!
