In
September of 2008, I had a dream. The dream made reference to my
deceased sister Erica. The body of the letter explains the purpose
of the letter. The September 18, 2008 letter was sent to relatives
and reads as follows:

18, 2008
Subject:
I HAD A DREAM
Dear
Family:
It
is approximately 6:00 a.m., 9-17-2008, as I write (later type) this
letter. It was after 5:00 a.m. of this morning, and with tears in my
eyes, that I was thinking about the brief dream of this morning.
The
Dream: I was in a room. People had gathered for a
celebration. The festivity was for my benefit and seemed as though
it was for my graduation celebration. (I graduated from high school
in 1957.) My brothers and sisters were present at this
festivity. The celebration for this graduation festivity seemed very
real. I remember seeing Emil (oldest brother) having a good time and
speaking with the people that participated in this graduation festivity
that was made for me. I then walked to the large dining room table
that was located in my parents’ home (1957). I saw many graduation
cards. One card caught my eye. The description of the profound
card will appear later in this letter.
Last
evening, Tuesday, September 16, 2008, I prayed "Lord," I said,
"I love you" and I continued briefly to pray for others.
A
Brief Background for the Dream of 9-17-2008 . . . My sister Erica
passed away this year (2008). I had opportunities to speak with her
several weeks prior to her home-going. Erica lived with her husband
in another state. During one of our recent conversations, I asked
her if they attend church services. "I attended church with
Frank last Sunday", she said. Although Erica had little contact
with her side of the family, recently, from time to time, I prayed that
God would give me assurance that she is now in Heaven.
Weeks
have passed since her home-going; and my thoughts, from time to time, have
focused upon my sister "Erica". (Erica passed away because
of liver cancer.)
Last
evening, September 16, 2008, I desired that the Lord manifest himself in a
more real and closer (not emotional) way to me. And, this morning,
September 17, 2008, the desired prayer became a reality via "a Dream"!
The
subject of this letter reads "I Had A Dream". I believe
the subject could read "I Had A Dream/Vision".
A
Dream/Vision: The Bible speaks about dreams and visions that God gave
to
people. The Bible Dreams and/or Bible Visions, focused upon certain
aspects of people’s lives and had a broader scope of purpose. Examples:
Old Testament Joseph/Pharaoh - Genesis, Chapter 41; Three Wise Men from
the Orient: - Matthew 2:11,12; New Testament Joseph (husband of Mary,
mother of Jesus) - Matthew 2:13,14; Cornelius - Acts 10:1-9; Peter - Acts
10:10-48.
The
September 17, 2008 Dream/Vision continued . . .
As
I stood at the table of my parents’ home (1957 in the 9-17-2008
dream/vision), I viewed the graduation cards. I then picked up one
particular card.
The
Description: The oblong card was folded from the top. The
card displayed a lovely, embossed table from the front- and topside
view. The table had tall flowers, and the setting of the table was
beautiful! The front of the embossed card showed lovely hues of the
decorated table. The embossed card was mostly white and absolutely
beautiful!
As
I opened the card, all I saw was the name "Erica"; and, then, I
suddenly awakened from the Dream/Vision.
Question:
Was the card in the dream/vision a sign from Heaven? Is it possible
that the Table in Heaven is being prepared for the Bride
of Christ? (Revelation
19:6-10)
Dear
Family: As I type this letter, my heart is stirred as I read
about the "Marriage
Supper of the
Lamb". (Revelation 19:6-10) Some
day, I want to be part of that Marriage Supper in Heaven! Is that
your desire also?
Dear
Reader: GOD
ANSWERS PRAYERS!
I believe God may give answers via heavenly dreams/heavenly visions for a
reason.
The Bible, the Holy Word of God, is "the Guideline"
for every
believer.
However, I also believe that God gives answers via every-day
occurrences. GOD
IS AN AWESOME GOD! Scripture tells me: 'Thy word is a lamp unto my
feet, and a light unto my path." PSALM 119:105.
The
dream/vision of 9-17-2008 tells me that God permitted me to know that
Erica reached the Glorious Eternity. The shortness of the
dream/vision may refer to the fact that the "Rapture"
(Return of
Christ - I Thessalonians 4:16-18)
may occur in my or your lifetime!
Dear
Family: Health-wise I am doing well. Although the "kidney
stone" episode of August 12, 2008 was no picnic, I thank the Lord for
hospitals and personnel that can help humanity when such crisis arise.
