INTRODUCTION ~
Written

In
June [2007] I attended a Christian Ladies’ Luncheon. Although I have
attended those luncheons only a few times, I have thoroughly enjoyed the
fellowship with the ladies and the speakers. The luncheons take place in a designated room in a
restaurant. The speakers share a number of happenings that take place within the community. Also, testimonies are shared that portray the sustaining power
of God in the speakers' lives.
Via
this page, another section is being published onto the Halo Ministries’ Website.
The web section is entitled "WOMEN OF FAITH". I firmly believe
that the testimonies from the ladies' luncheons are a tremendous blessing to
those that attend such wonderful gatherings.
In
July [2007] I had the privilege to attend a yearly ladies' meeting at
a Christian Family Camp. During that particular meeting, I had
the opportunity to listen to the wife of a minister of the Gospel and she shared a tremendous
testimony of the sustaining power of God in her daily living.
Christian
women can be of great help and value as they encourage and give godly advice
from their experiences.
PROVERBS
31:10,25,30 tells us: "Who
can find a virtuous woman? for her price
is far above rubies. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
Favour is deceitful, and
beauty is vain: but a woman
that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised." KJV
The
following message, entitled "A Strong Woman Versus a Woman of
Strength," also speaks to my heart:
A
STRONG WOMAN VERSUS
A WOMAN OF STRENGTH
A
strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape
But
a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape.
A
strong woman isn't afraid of anything
But
a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear.
A
strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future
A
woman of strength realizes life's
mistakes can also be
God's
blessings and capitalizes on them.
A
strong woman walks sure footedly
But
a woman of strength knows God will catch her when she falls.
A
strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face
But
a woman of strength wears grace.
A
strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey
But
a woman of strength has faith that it is
In
the journey that she will become strong
Pass
this on to every good woman. . . I just did!
