HEN JESUS COMES

The Bible has stood the "Test of Time."  For many centuries now, the "Return of Christ" has been proclaimed by "Evangelists", "Revivalists", and many earnest "Pastors" and earnest "Christians".  The Scripture tells us of a reality that has happened in the past and is also happening in this day and age.

 

II Peter 3:3 and 4 tells us:

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

 

"And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?  for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."

 

Also, II Peter 3:8 tells us:

"But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN JESUS COMES?     WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN JESUS COMES? Perhaps watch television Or view a movie with lots of fun.   WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN JESUS COMES? Perhaps go shopping for the latest styles Or browse in many stores for awhile.   WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN JESUS COMES? Perhaps make your home look like new Or buy the latest styles of shoes.   WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN JESUS COMES? Perhaps get a hairdo that you will want Or lay in the backyard and soak in the sun.   WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN JESUS COMES? Perhaps scold the children and husband too Or talk about the latest news.   WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN JESUS COMES? Perhaps watch a game of soccer With family, friends and your sons too.   WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN JESUS COMES? Perhaps take a vacation that is overdue And brag about the presents that you have accrued.   WHAT WILL "I" DO WHEN JESUS COMES? I am not perfect and perhaps have faults like you, But am a Child of King Jesus that loves me and you. We must live and work until Jesus comes, and do our best for family and friends. Tomorrow is another day, but have I served my King today?  Have I used my talents that God gave to me, and will my Jesus some day say to me:   "WELL DONE, THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT: . . .  ENTER THOU INTO THE JOY OF THE LORD."
