(7-1-2011) Dear Child of God: I have redeemed you through the shed blood of Jesus. Go forth knowing that angels are heirs of salvation (HEBREWS 1:14) and they watch over you. May your day be filled with Godly love and show forth the love you have been bestowed as a gift from the God in heaven via Jesus Christ the Lord.

Dear Reader: Are you a believer in Christ? (John 3:16) If so, may I encourage you to take time - no matter how busy the day may be - and focus your thoughts upon the God of Heaven that created the universe and breathed a soul into each person. As you read this "Journal", may your own heart whisper thoughts of praise, gratitude, and/or petitions. JSH

(7-2-2011) Heavenly Father, today I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I thank you for speaking to my heart. Yesterday I transplanted a lovely white violet plant into a larger pot. Thank you, Lord, for the beauty that we may see from day to day.

You, Lord, also expand the borders of our lives. A few leaves needed to be cut from the violet plant, so that new growth will come forth and, therefore, display a greater, more beautiful plant.

Lord, in my life, many moments have brought happiness and/or pain. And, yet, those moments, Lord, were covered with the knowledge that You have surrounded my life with protection, love, and a sustaining power that comes from heaven above. Thank You Lord that you promised that I may come to the Throne of God with boldness and that You hear the whisper from my heart. (Hebrews 4:16)

(7-5-2011) Dear Reader: Do you recall when you were a child and faced hurting moments and, then decided to go to your mother or father for some encouragement? If so, the encouragement helped ease the pain of a negative or not-so--pleasant moment. I firmly believe that as a believer in Christ, I, too, may come to the God of Heaven through Christ Jesus and believe the promise of the Holy Bible that tells us: " ... for he hath said: I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5

(7-3-2011) Lord, I thank you for Sundays. This morning, while I and my husband attended the church service, we viewed a though-provoking video of a young boy pledging allegiance. The voice of the father petitioned God that He may show the young boy, while he is growing up, to also pledge allegiance to God. Heavenly Father, I thank you that I am living in America; and I pray that many young people follow the true path to heaven; namely, the path of righteousness. Amen!

(8-24-2011) Lord, today, while being in your presence through prayer, you made it very real that Your wisdom is higher than mankind's wisdom. I praise and exalt you today!
