OVERVIEW
OF MY LIFE FROM 1980's . . .

During
the month of January 2008, I attended several Bible Studies that
encompassed the subject about the "Will of God". During
that time (January 10th, 2008), I focused upon my life from the 1980's to
the present time. I then compiled the information. During the
Bible study, people were asked to share testimonies about "the Will of
God" in their lives. Because, as a Christian writer, I do much
writing and focusing upon the "Holy Word of God", namely the
Bible, the following testimony was shared with the group of people that
were in attendance during one of those Bible sessions. The testimony
reads as follows:
"I
believe God’s Will for my life is: God - Family - Church!
"I
want to share a brief overview of my life from the 1980’s to the present
time, January 2008. Many years ago, I attended a Bible Study at
(another church). At that time, the youth pastor, Rev. M.H.
conducted the Bible Study. He quoted a Scripture Verse that became
very dear to my heart and reads as follows . . .

“AND
ON MY SERVANTS AND ON MY HANDMAIDENS I WILL POUR
OUT IN
THOSE DAYS OF MY SPIRIT; AND THEY SHALL PROPHESY:”

"I
will read what I compiled and what I believe to be the “Will of God”
in my life. This write-up definitely speaks of how God guided the
progress of the Halo
Ministries,
a Christian
Writing Ministry,
on the worldwide web……………………
"In
the 1980’s, I began to write Christian Poetry. At one time, I
prayed to have a desk with a typewriter so that the compiled Poems could
be typed. In time, I did get a desk and a typewriter. My son
Gary, living at home at that time, went to college and purchased a
computer. I learned how to use Gary’s computer. Eventually
the poems were typed onto the computer disks. Gary got married and
took the computer with him. There I was with a number of disks, but
no computer! By bugging my husband, I eventually got a computer of
my own.
"I
then knew that the poems, articles, booklets, etc. needed to be placed
onto the worldwide web. A lady friend has a son that is a web
designer. By contacting the son I indicated that I had numerous
pages that I believe could be placed onto a website. The web
designer placed the pages onto the website entitled “Halo
Ministries”.
"I
continued to do much Christian Writing. After one year I believed
that the Halo
Ministries’
Website
needed to be updated and additional material needed to be placed onto the
website. The web designer no longer could do the work at no cost.
I then purchased
a design program, but could not understand the functionality of the
program. I shared this dilemma with my oldest son Tim, and he
said: “Mom, you have a program, why not try to understand the
program.” I was glad that my son had confidence in me, and,
therefore, with much prayer and working the tutorial of that program, the
website was eventually understood. As I began to continue to work on
the website, God gave wisdom to correct any problems that came my way.
"When
Bro. "U" was the Pastor of the church, there were brochures in
the foyer that advertised the Internet
Service Provider “Integrity Online.”
By contacting them and receiving additional information from the ISP
Technician, the Halo
Ministries,
that I had designed, could now be placed onto the internet. This
occurred in the year 2000 and is still in progress today.
"Last
week (1-10-2008), I came across a poem that I had written in 1989.
The poem is entitled “IN
HIS TIME”
and reads as follows:

IN
HIS TIME
~
In
His time you will see that change
In
His time it will be for His gain
In
His time that perfect plan will come
Through
fretting and worry nothing is ever won.
There
is a God who sees our struggles
There
is a God who knows my needs
There
is a God who holds the seasons
There
is a God who has the answers for all reasons.
Therefore,
I journey on with His plan in mind
I
journey on, knowing that in His time
I
will see the wonder of what He has done
And
the victory that will be won
Through
JESUS, GOD’S HOLY SON!
"At
the present time, I am pursuing a Christian Counseling Diploma with the
AACC; namely American
Association of Christian Counselors.
I am very grateful that I am able to pursue the Christian
Writing Ministry that God has given to me.
"In
closing, I want to quote a sentence that was written last week
(1-10-2008): 'WHEN
A CHRISTIAN WALKS IN THE WILL OF GOD, THERE IS A PEACE THAT PASSES ALL
UNDERSTANDING.' "
