 HE
STREETS OF GOLD
The
Bible tells us in Revelation
21:21 and 23:
"And
the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of
one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it
were transparent glass.
And
the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine
in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb
is the light thereof."

THE STREETS
OF GOLD ~
When
I was young, I hopped and jumped
Like
little girls will do .
When
I grew older
I
stood at the church altar
And
said with the future spouse "I do" .
And,
then, my children came
They
brought joys and tears ,
And
I asked the Lord
To
guide and keep them from worldly games,
From
sorrows, and from fears .
I
am older now
And
saw God's Hand
That
guides, protects me day by day .
I
may not hop with glee
But
rejoice in Godly Ways .
The
blessings to my heart and soul
Make
my heart jump with joy ,
I
gladly walk the Righteous Path
That
leads to Heaven's Glorious Place .
Dear
friend, do you know my Lord
That
gives Eternal Life?
If
so, some day you too will jump
When
you walk the Streets of Gold!
