WITH
GOD!

How
can a person have friendship with the "Creator of the Universe?'
Such a phenomenon is astounding! Every person was given a soul from
God at the time of conception. It does matter, however, what you or I
do with the soul that God has given to us.
A
Scripture Verse from Psalm
139:14 tells us: "I
will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are
thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."
It
is a phenomenon that God thought about you or I when we were in our mother's
wombs. Yes, God cares, and I believe that He exists. Many
Scripture Verses will attest to the fact that God does exist.
Hebrews
11:6 tells us: "But
without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must
believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek
him."
The
love of God transcends the human comprehension of understanding that the Son
of God, our Lord Jesus, left the Heavenly Realm and gave His Life on Calvary
for all mankind ... past, present, and future. (John
3:16)
When
trying to understand the love that Jesus "The Shepherd" has for
you or I, then certainly our hearts may praise our Loving God because He
places such value upon the human soul. Do you realize that one's name
may appear in the Lamb's Book of Life if and when accepting the atoning work
that Jesus did for mankind on the cross of Calvary? (Revelation
21:27)
It
is normal to desire the depth of the Love of God; and, yet, we may dwell in
His Presence via coming to God in a humble attitude when praying to Him.
Scripture
tells us: in James 5:16: "Confess your faults one to
another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual
fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
You
may ask: "Does praying to God give you or I the answers that we
may seek?" Ministers of the Gospel have said: "The
answers may be 'yes', 'no', 'wait awhile'."
Waiting
on God in prayer will give you peace in your heart and soul until a definite
answer is realized.
A
maturity in Christ may be compared to the natural stages of a child.
1.
A child grows up via the nurturing from parents, etc.
2.
The parents will feed the baby until the infant is old enough and begins
to eat certain foods by itself.
3.
The child will receive guidance from the parents and/or other persons that
are part of his or her life.
4.
The life of a child matures via the teaching from daily attendance in
schools.
5.
Expansion of knowledge is also received via newspapers, magazines, books,
television viewing, movies, etc.
How
can a person's spirituality be compared to the foregoing analogy?
In
John 3:3 Jesus said: " . . . Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Also,
John 3:7 tells us: "Marvel not that I said unto
thee, Ye must be born again."
Can
an adult be born again? The birth of a child results in a baby that
comes from a mother's womb. A person may understand the
"spiritual birth" when in faith-believing that person accepts the
"atoning work that Jesus accomplished on the cross of
Calvary". (For more "SALVATION

As
a new Christian, a person also needs to grow and mature. This process
occurs when continuing to pray, reading the Bible, and attending the church
of your choice.
Hebrews
10:25 tells us: "Not
forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day
approaching." (Please
note: The foregoing Scripture Verse refers to the Return of our Lord
Jesus Christ. Some people refer this to the "Second Coming of the
Lord".)
As
a new Christian, the depth of "Spiritual Living" will depend upon
the individual person desiring a deeper walk with God. There is a
"Spiritual Realm" that a Christian may experience. That type
of realm is freely available via the presence of God from His Spirit and
through Christ Jesus.
Do
you want to be a spiritual person? The
real question is: "Do you want a closer friendship with
God?"
PERSONALLY,
IN MY LIFE,
I
DESIRE THE DAILY ANOINTING AND GUIDANCE
THAT
COMES FROM GOD!
|
JESUS
SAID IN JOHN 14:2: "In my Father's house
are many mansions: if
it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place
for you."
