The
Holy Bible has stood the "Test of Time." Its awe-inspiring
messages (GENESIS TO REVELATION) have proclaimed the "Awesome
Creation," the
"Mighty Rulers of Nations," the 
"Weaknesses of Mankind," the "Fulfillment
of Events Proclaimed by Prophets," the "Prayers of Sincere
Hearts,"
the "Birth
of the Saviour of the world; namely, Jesus Christ the Lord,"
the "Holy Spirit's
Power at Pentecost," and the "Promise of Christ's
Return
for the Church--the
worldwide Bride."
Christ
died on the cross of Calvary for all people, thus
bringing
forgiveness of sins to all mankind.
Hebrews
9:28 tells us:
"So
Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and
unto
them that look for him shall he appear the second
time without sin
unto salvation."
How
can you be "saved" or have that "Eternal Life"?
Eternal Life can be secured via a "Faith Process."
By
accepting
Christ into your heart, you then
receive a "Salvation
Ticket to Heaven." Jesus paid the
price so that
you may some day live eternally with God.
The

"THE STEPS TO "SALVATION" gives additional Biblical
Guidelines to "SALVATION."
THE
STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
The
phrase "Stairway to Heaven" has a poetic sound. I have
seen movies that have a stairway going into heaven. As the person
ascended into heaven, white clouds were surrounding the stairway.
The
Bible also speaks about a ladder. On that ladder, Heavenly angels
ascended and descended. Jacob, the second son of Isaac and Rebekah,
had a dream.
Genesis
28:12 states:
"And
he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it
reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and
descending on it."
Movies
were also made that depict the abyss of hell. The word
"devil" or "Satan" is associated with the hopelessness
of the Christless eternity.
The
Holy Scripture describes the eternity of "Hell" or
"Heaven."
The
ultimate choice of the "Glorious Eternity" depends upon the
individual accepting Christ as Saviour!
While
living on earth, the person can have that assurance. The assurance
is free. JESUS paid the price for all people approximately 2000
years ago. The mandate to "the Assurance of Heaven" is the
acceptance of Jesus Christ as Saviour. By accepting "the Saving
Grace of God" into one's heart, the person spiritually climbs
"the Stairway to Heaven." The steps to Salvation is a walk
of "Faith." The following article will explain the
"Faith Walk."
THE
STEPS TO SALVATION
1.
Confess that you are a sinner. The Holy Scripture tells us:
"Wherefore,
as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death
passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" Romans 5:12
"For
the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
"But
God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
"If
we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and
to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I John 1:9
"For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:" Ephesians 2:8
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I need cleansing and
forgiveness for my sins. Please cleanse me from all my sins.
2.
Believe that Christ Jesus is the Son of God, was born of a virgin.
He died for your sins, and God raised Jesus from the dead. And,
Jesus is now seated at the Right Hand of the Father.
"That
if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved." Romans 10:9
"For
with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:10
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God, born of a
virgin. Jesus, You died for my sins on the Cross of Calvary, and
God raised Jesus from the dead. I believe that You are seated at
the Right Hand of the Father. By Thy Spirit, Lord, come into my
heart and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
3.
By faith believe that you are a new creature in Christ, because Jesus
Precious Blood cleanses from sins, and, you are a Child of God.
"The
Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children
of God:" Romans 8:16
"And
if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if
so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified
together." Romans 8:17
"Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are
passed away; behold, all things are become new." II
Corinthians 5:17
4.
