(January
15, 2002) Have you ever heard about Longwood Gardens? It was
during the years of 1968 to 1977, while living in New Jersey, the
congregation of a country church visited the beautiful Longwood Gardens.
At that time, we
also visited a building that housed many beautiful plants. It was a
beautiful, sunny day as the group of people visited Longwood Gardens that
day.
In
December 1998 to April 1999, my dying mother experienced the effects of
cancer. I was glad to have been able to receive helpful information
from her doctor about her illness. The doctor recommended the services of the Hospice
organization. The people of Hospice were extremely helpful and
compassionate as I, and my brothers with their spouses, were coping with the
emotional aspect of a dying mother.
During
the last few weeks of my mother living on earth, God gave me an awesome
Dream/Vision. In the Dream/Vision I saw my mother standing in the
building of the Longwood Gardens that housed the variety of plants. While my mother was standing in that Longwood Gardens building, she was hugging my brother. (My brother
had gone home to Heaven several years prior to this Dream/Vision.)
Also,
several years ago, I was privileged to write a Christian Poem that made
reference to the Longwood Gardens. The Poem reads as follows:
ROSE
GARDEN

One
day I walked through a garden
Longwood
is the name,
I
saw so many roses
The
colors so beautiful and rare,
And,
Lord, when I get to Heaven
Will
I see roses there?
If
so, the thorns
Will
no longer prick me there,
The
colors of the roses
They
were so lovely and so fair,
The
red ones, yellow, pink
Speak
of a beauty beyond compare!
But
most of all the colors
The
red speaks of God's Great Love,
Because
He sent His Son to earth
From
Heaven above,
And
now, Dear Lord,
What
more shall I write down?
"I
LOVE YOU TRULY," is the answer
"TO
ALL MANKIND!" (*)
