Today
(5-18-2010), while thinking about the Holy Scripture, namely: the Bible, I
remembered writing a paragraph that briefly summarizes the contents of the
Bible. The paragraph reads as follows:
The
Holy Bible has stood the "Test of Time." Its awe-inspiring
messages (GENESIS TO REVELATION) have proclaimed the "Awesome
Creation," the "Mighty Rulers of Nations," the
"Weaknesses of Mankind," the "Fulfillment of Events
Proclaimed by Prophets," the "Prayers of Sincere Hearts,"
the "Birth of the Saviour of the world; namely, Jesus Christ the
Lord," the "Holy Spirit's Power at Pentecost," and the
"Promise of Christ's Return for the Church--the worldwide
Bride." Johanna
How
may you or I reach God in Heaven?
The
Bible states in Hebrews 11:6:
"But without faith it is impossible to
please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he
is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
In
other words, when you pray, you believe that the God in Heaven through
Christ Jesus will hear your praise, petition, and/or worship.
When
did God, in Three Persons, have a beginning? The foregoing question is,
undoubtedly, asked again and again. The answer about God is: 1) God was,
2) God is, 3) and God always will be. Hebrews
13:8 tells us: "Jesus
Christ the same yesterday, today, and for ever." In the beginning of
Creation, the Spirit of God hovered over the vastness of the global waters
(Genesis 1:1,2). Genesis 1:26 states: "And God said: Let us make man in
our image, (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) etc."
Although
I have been a Christian for many years, I have stated again and again,
and, also, have heard other people make the same statement - “"What would
I do without the Lord?" What is the meaning of such a statement?
I
believe that knowing God intimately from one’s heart indicates that the
presence of the Lord is and becomes more precious with each passing day,
week, months, and/or years.
As
a Christian, I am not a perfect person, so to speak. One’s personality
and/or daily routine, and relationship with those around us, does, again
and again, play an important role in our relationship with others.
While
writing this article, I am so very much reminded that among faith, hope,
and love, the greatest is love. (I Corinthians 13:13)
The question is: "Do
you love everybody?" Are we to mimic Christ? We are not to mimic Christ;
however, we are to be followers of Christ.
Ephesians
5:1,2 tells me: 1)
"Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2) And
walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us
an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour."

Comments: Has anyone ever stepped on your toes? If a person were to step on your
toes, your reply would be, "Ouch". What if a person continually and purposely steps on your toes?
My remark could sound like this: "Listen, you are stepping on my toes
and that hurts; therefore, (please?) stop stepping on my toes."
And,
if you follow the example of Jesus, He would bid you to pray for the
person that purposely steps on your toes. Hopefully nobody steps on your
toes.
When
you or I have a close relationship with God, you desire to receive the
"Spiritual
Blessings" that are given through reading of the Precious Word of God,
experiencing His wonderful presence through prayer, praise, and,
importantly, attending the House of Worship of your choice.

We
are admonished from His Word: "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves
together as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much
the more, as ye see the day approaching." Hebrews 10:25
On

following quotation was written on a piece of paper:

"When
Heaven becomes closer to one’s heart,
the world becomes
