QUOTATIONS
are inspired thoughts that often times share profound truths. May
the following quotations/writings be a blessing to you:
When
Heaven becomes closer to one's heart, the world becomes
smaller. 6-8-2010/JSH
Have
you ever asked yourself: "how much time did I spend in
prayer today?" This morning the prayer time was minimal;
however, sensing the "Presence of God" cannot be equated
with time. 3-16-2011/JSH
You
do not need a jet to fly closer to God -- going on your knees will
convey the petitions from your heart to the heart of God.

The
depth of the love of God can be seen in the service of a loving
Christian. 3-16-2011/JSH
You
or I can be walking sermons to people that come into one's
life. What type of sermon do we present? 3-16-2011/JSH
Our
circumstances in life may shape our character. Making Jesus,
our Mentor and living according to His teachings, will refine the
character of one's life. 3-27-2011/JSH
I
attend Church Services to be blessed and/or to be admonished via
the Word of God...the Bible. 4-11-2011/JSH
The
grace of God is greater than the grace of mankind.

There
are times when conflict with others can only be resolved between
you and Jesus. 4-29-2011/JSH
Women
may bring about mind-boggling, humanly impossible tasks that are
saturated with an anointing that comes from the wisdom of God that
is provided via the Holy Spirit! 6/23/2011/JSH
Whatever
is ahead...today and tomorrow...our God is there to help with your
and/or my needs. 8/4/2011/JSH
Jesus
said: 1)
"Let not
your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in
me. 2) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not
so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for
you." John 14: 1,2
Writers
will many times write because they have been inspired via daily
occurrences and/or have read newspapers, magazines, television
presentations, etc. As a Christian writer, I, too, am inspired
to write and many times make notes onto journal pages. While
reviewing a sheet of paper, the following quotation was written on
8/5/2006. (The quotation was written into a get-well card and
sent to a person that had health issues.)
"Prayer
is a source of strength and is a source of hope for future
events." 8/5/2006/JSH
Christian
Poetry contains many quotable sentences. The 9/5/2011 poem is
entitled "The Prayer Walk":
~
THE
PRAYER
WALK
~
This
morning I walked the prayer walk with My Lord
He spoke to my heart
while tears stained my eyes
I
thanked Him for the saints that pray for me
And
for His Blessings that He provides.
Lord,
let me walk with You on mountain heights
Lord,
let me walk when through valleys I must be
Lord,
walk with me forever
Then
some day we will walk throughout Eternity!

Scripture

time of need." Hebrew 4:16
(April
2012) It was in the month of April when I again focused upon the
Scripture Verses that tell us "God
is no respecter of persons"
(Acts 10:34);
because God does want every person of every tribe and nation to be
saved (II Peter 3:9).
Several days later, I was delighted to briefly listen to a Minister
of the Gospel, from the television screen, proclaiming a similar,
spiritual insight as highlighted in this paragraph; therefore, I may
also conclude ..................
"God
reveals secrets to those that diligently seek Him"!.
