Forgive
me, Lord, when doubts assail
When
I do see that I have failed
Forgive
me, Lord, I will try again.
When
someone comes and does me wrong
Forgive
them, Lord, and make me strong
Forgive
them, Lord, for I am sometimes wrong.
When
tears do flow and my heart does break
Forgive
me, Lord, and let me be brave
Forgive
me, Lord, You also died for my sin’s sake.
Your
yoke is easy, the burdens are light
When
I learn to bring them to your side
Forgive
me, Lord, forgive my pride.
My
Saviour and Shepherd You are to me
Help
me to be a sheep that always follows Thee
And,
Lord, I place my trust in Thee.
