A
number of years ago, I read a few lines from a profound statement.
The
few lines were written by an unknown author. In the month of January
2012, I read an expanded version of the profound statement. The
“IF” article carries many thoughtful admonishments and/or
uplifting thoughts that anyone may apply to their own lives.
For
the month of February 2012, the Halo Ministries' Newsletter is
featuring the “IF” article. May the article prove to
be a blessing to
the readers.

If
a child lives with tolerance

He learns to be patient.
If
a child lives with praise

If

If

He learns to like himself.
If
a child lives with recognition,
…
He learns to have a goal..
If
a child lives with fairness,
…
He learns what justice is.
If
a child lives with honesty,
…
He learns what trust is.
If
a child lives with security,

He learns to have faith in himself and in those above him.
If
a child lives with friendliness,
…
He learns that the world is a good place in which to live.
We
all live in an imperfect world. Why did Jesus come to this world?
Jesus came to unite sinful mankind to a Loving, Holy God. Indeed, God
loved us so much that He permitted Jesus to be born in a lowly stable
in Bethlehem. Also, Jesus gave His life for you and I so that we may
receive eternal life and be worthy to some day enter the “Glorious
Heaven”. (John 3:16)
Jesus taught the disciples (the followers of
Christ) how they should live. As followers of Christ, we may also know
how to live our daily lives so that you and/or my life can be a reflection
of the Love of God.
The
world may not be perfect. Christians may not always please God in
every areas of daily living. However, it is a great comfort that we
are able to come to the Heavenly Father through Christ Jesus and
permit Him to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(I John 1:9)
The
“IF” outline is a good outline to follow. The “Golden Rule” in
Scripture tells us: “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that
men (people) should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the
law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:12
Dear
Reader: My desire is: “To be more like Jesus and to follow His
Teachings!” Many
years ago, while a youth leader for four years, the
youth group sang the following chorus ……..
