29, 2002) Life, in general, brings pain, joy, sorrow, and untold
challenges. When eating cherries from a bowl, that fruit looks good;
however, you will discover that the pits of that fruit cannot be eaten.
There are people that are "happy go lucky". I know that each
person has a personality that is shaped from its growing-up years and/or from
the environment.
I
am not a doctor, nor am I psychologist. Society can be grateful for the
wisdom from doctors, psychiatrists and/or psychologists. Many people
have been helped via such knowledgeable people.
If
you are ill, life does bring pain. When the surroundings are happy, life
then brings happiness. However, when you have seen and heard much about
pain in people's life's, are you then "happy go lucky"? I do
not desire to paint (so to speak) a picture of gloom. When you talk to
anyone that has dire needs in daily living, perhaps, they will paint a picture
(so to speak) of despair and/or disappointment. When you talk to anyone
that has "it all together" and life seems to be a "bowl of
cherries", perhaps, they will then paint a picture (so to speak) of life
being wonderful and "A Okay".
During
World War II, while being a young child at that time, I know for a fact that
my mother (and probably many other people) held onto their Faith in the Living
God.
My
life, at times with its complex situations, has given me a Faith in the Living
God; and, through the Precious Promises I am continuously encouraged by the
Truth from the Word of God.

(June
21, 2008) The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been and is being preached all over
the world. People attend the church services because .... it is
customary to attend .... because the parents encourage the children to attend
.... because people want to hear more about God's Word .... and/or people
attend church services to experience God's Holy Presence.
If
you love the Word of God, you or I will want to hear more about the Word of
God. At the present time (06/21/2008), the "DEVOTIONAL"
