Let
the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable
in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 19:14 ~ |
(December
30, 2001) Have you ever experienced a definite, Divine Appointment
with God? I do believe that many Christians have testimonies of a
Divine Encounter with God, the Creator of this Universe. There are
many missionaries and/or ministers of the Gospel that definitely speak about
Divine Encounters occurring in their daily lives.
Now,
I am not talking about something that is too far-fetched to understand
and/or to grasp. The Holy Bible, God’s Written Word, tells us of
Divine Encounters in people’s lives. For this web page, I will not
take time to research the many happenings in God’s Holy Word.
However, the Bible -- also on the internet -- is not only a tool for
reference, but, also, a guideline for each of us; therefore, helping us to
connect with a Holy God that wants to speak through His Word.
Prayer
may also be a Divine Encounter whereby the Holy Spirit may speak to a person’s
heart. Such a Divine Encounter happened to me on Sunday morning,
December 30, 2001.
During
that morning, after prayer, I took time to write a memo to a few of my
friends. This Web Page will be sent to those friends, and the memo
reads as follows:
Dear
Friends,
It
was good seeing you at the niece’s baby shower yesterday, December 29,
2001. Via conversation with several people, I became re-acquainted
with the lives and/or nee ds
of several acquaintances. If you don’t mind, I shall include you
in the Invisible Prayer List of my heart. You have heard that “confession
is good for the soul.” I must confess that the busyness of daily
life and the zeal for the HALO MINISTRIES keeps me very busy. I am
also a member of the Presidential Prayer Team -- one million prayer
warriors thus far. God, through His Wisdom has nudged at my heart
this morning and guided me to seek HIM more earnestly on my knees.
With this memo I am including a poem that was written Sunday morning
(December 30, 2001). The poem was placed upon my heart and,
therefore, encourages me to take more time to pray on my knees.
(P-A-U-S-E
-- need to place my roast into the oven. The cut potatoes and freshly
cut asparagus are soaking in water - in separate containers, of course.)
About
my Spouse -- he is en route to down-town Cleveland -- he will be helping
with the homeless ministry.

GOD
IS
CALLING

My
child, when will you come into My Presence
When
will you seek Me on your knees?
My
child, I long to hear your heart’s desire
And
answer your call to Me.
My
child, in the prayer chamber
Kings
and queens have called on Me.
In
the prayer chamber
The
lives of people are dear to Me.
Tomorrow
is another day
To
keep busy with daily living.
It
is in the prayer chamber
That
God answers our pleas.
HEAVENLY
FATHER . . .
forgive
my complacent living
Allow
my heart to daily seek Thee
And
through my prayer can You, Dear God,
Hear
my plea
And
change the lives for Eternity!
