(12-16-2010) The following poem entitled "CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS" will be sent via the email program to several people.  "CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS" was recently written by me, Johanna Stang Hobrath.  During the beautiful Christmas Season, many people are extremely busy preparing for the upcoming holidays.  Such busyness also includes this writer.  The poem entitled "CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS" was finalized within the last couple days.  As you read this poem, may you also reflect upon the fact that we celebrate Christmas because JESUS came to "seek and save" mankind from sin.  Johanna

 

~ CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS ~

 

 

In the hustle and bustle of the Christmas Season

The emotions may run high,

Be kind to one another

So that others need not cry.

 

Is Christ in your Christmas

Or are your own plans more important to you?

Remember Christ in your Christmas

And be thankful at His Coming all year too.

 

Forgiveness can bring sweetness

When celebrating with family and friends,

And wonderful is the assurance

Traveling with God to a land that never ends.

On December 9th (2010), I received an email message from an out-of-state friend.  The email message shares a website address of an adorable Christmas video.  The video featured a humble angel on a Christmas tree.  The Christmas video is enjoyable to watch as the angel lights candles and goes from one Christmas Globe to another.
