"PEOPLE
ARE SMART"

There
is an advertisement from the television screen that states "People
Are Smart". When listening to such a statement, I then agree
that "people are smart". When considering the development of
technological marvels over the years, a person will then agree that
people are smart.
From
the time of Adam and Eve in the garden of Paradise to the present age,
we certainly can see and hear that the technological progress is
astounding. The span of life has been increased through the
efforts of medicine and doctors. And, yet, the fact is that none
of us live on earth forever.
That
brings to mind that each person - created with a soul that God breathed
into the human being - may give "Thanks to the Creator this coming
Thanksgiving 2007". I am not a politician; however, the
consensus from many Christians is: "times have changed".
With such changing of times, we seem to be less "thankful" for
the things that God has bestowed upon this country. Again and
again we read and/or hear from the daily news that the true God of
America is being pushed into the background. Such action is
"a dangerous doing". We must remember that the
forefathers of this country depended upon "Providence; namely the
God in Heaven".
Recently it has been stated that . . . . . .
. the
"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi today defended the Architect of the
Capitol's refusal to permit use of the word 'God' on official
certificates enclosed with flags flown over the U.S. Capitol." See

One
of the comments posted via the above web page reads:
"Take
heed all. No matter your stance on any religion--god is god in all
religions actually if only by a different name--this country is
turning inside out and upside down.
"We
are not officially our own worst enemy. We are the enemy within
that so many predicted would come. It is here and it is
us. We have elected our enemies.
"We
are too lazy to defeat those we have elected to destroy us.
Why? Because they have us so busy working to just make ends meet
that the last thing we have to worry about is proactive civil
involvement.
"----
you take too much time to get involved, etc.
"Take
heed people. Please. Times are changing and the only thing
that will change what's happening in this country is an outright
refusal to accept the hypocrisy." Commentator:

Comments: God is my Heavenly Father; and Christians that have accepted
His Son, Jesus Christ are my spiritual brothers and sisters. Anyone
reading this will know that you were physically born because of a father
and a mother. Do you reject the thought that you have/had an earthly
father and an earthly mother? Therefore, why reject the Heavenly Father
from America and/or the world? God is God and rules and reigns from
Heaven [Isaiah
66:1].

[10-12-2007] A recent email from the GOPUSA.com stated
"Lawmakers, led by Republicans, have since demanded that policy
be changed." Praise God!!!

Recently
I had the opportunity to again review the European Trip of 2004.
[It had been fifty-three years since I had the opportunity to see Europe
again.] Once again I was reminded of the time when I stood in the
foyer of the Park Hotel and viewed the beautiful garden that overlooks the
Thunersee (Thuner Lake). At that time, sensing the homesickness
for America, God spoke to my heart. The message of that day
[August 26, 2004] was published onto the Page 7 of "A Christian
