HOW
CLOSE ARE
YOU TO
GOD?

09-29-04] Friday morning, August 6, 2004, my husband and I
were driving in the car for the purpose of accomplishing buying the
weekly grocery. I then spoke an extremely important question,
and that important question was addressed to my husband. The
question was: "How close are you to God?"
Spiritually
speaking, as believers in Christ, we tend to believe that we are
close to God. It is stated that "God is only a prayer
away." Scripture tells me: "Call
unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty
things, which thou knowest not." [Jeremiah 33:3]
I
am so glad that the presence of God is everywhere! [So God
willing, shall conclude this article when I return from
Europe. It is sixty years ago when I and my two oldest
brothers had to leave our hometown, Janova Lehota, Slovakia.

The trip to Europe was awesome! I am glad to be back in the
U.S.A. However, I do thank God for His protection while
traveling and sight-seeing so many European places. Indeed God
is everywhere! I also experienced the Presence of God in

One
of the highlights of the trip included sightseeing the famous
fortress where Martin Luther translated the Bible; namely, the New
Testament in the German language. Martin Luther accomplished
this tremendous task within one year at the Wartburg Fortress near
Eisenbach in Theuringen, Germany. To the right of this
paragraph, you see my husband and I standing at an elevated area,
and the Wartburg Fortress is in the background. God certainly
created a beautiful world; however, mankind has been given the
opportunity to be good stewards for all that has been entrusted to

Again,
as a Christian writer, I am grateful for having had the opportunity
to travel to the European countries. The traveling time took
place from August 2004 to September of 2004.
