"WHAT
IS
IMPORTANT
WHEN
JOURNEYING
THROUGH
LIFE?"

The
title for the August 2007 Halo Ministries’ Newsletter has a lengthy
title. A writer could write a book with the foregoing title; and,
each writer could come up with many aspects while writing about "What
Is Important When Journeying Through Life?".
First,
we all have 24 hours each day; and, what is to be done in those 24
hours? One’s obligation will definitely reveal the outcome of
those 24 hours. Have you heard the expression "there is never
enough time to accomplish what has to be done"?
While
writing this August 2007 Newsletter, I am reminded of the creation as
outlined in the Book
of Genesis.
When we refer to the "Creation Story", I have come to realize
that God (the Trinity - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy
Spirit) was and is a "God of Order". When the creation
was completed on the sixth day, the Bible tells us that "And
God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very
good. And the evening, and the morning were the sixth
day." [Genesis 1:31]
The
human being can accomplish many things. As a homemaker, and when
any household task is done, I, too, am then content to have accomplished
the task with gratefulness and deserved pride.
The
Bible tells us that God looked at everything that He made and was
satisfied because "
. . . it was very good . . . ". [Genesis 1:31]
Indeed,
the human race, or the individual person. has obligations to accomplish.
However, in every busy day, let us not forget the Creator that created
humanity. In my busy day, may my heart be lifted toward God and
may I pray . . .
