2002 - ISSUE 11
Written
by Johanna Hobrath
Have
you ever written a diary or a journal and, then, several years later
compared the writings to the truth that was applied then and how the same
truth speaks today? Recently I compared such truth from the July 18,
2000 article and how the same truth is applied to today, July 2002.
When you read the article HEALING
AND RESTORATION, you will
discover
profound truths from a Christian perspective as well as from a secular
perspective.
PLEASE
NOTE: Permit the thoughts contained herein to speak to you. If
you desire to read an in-depth, analytical article - both religious and
secular - you will then want to eagerly read its content.
HEALING
AND RESTORATION
July
18, 2000
When
people read books about solving the problems from the situations in life,
they may receive solid information from several sources; and, such
information may be useful for their particular need.
When
listening to sermons, I, too, may receive answers via the Holy Word of
God. However, if the basic principle from the Word of God is not
followed, the circumstances in life may then cause little change for a
brighter outcome.
I
have discovered that marriage can only survive when each spouse tries to
show respect and honour to the partner that God has united at the church
altar or via the “Justice of the Peace.” Too many hurts and
conflicts occur when the husband or wife show little concern for each
other. The wife may pray for years for a peaceful existence; however,
if the husband chooses to be the total boss in every aspect, the wife may
have no choice but to continue to pray and with tears petition God to change
the heart of her spouse.
Divorce
in a marriage should never be an option. There are, of course,
circumstances that seem beyond restoration. However, I am of the firm
belief that healing in any circumstances may bring restoration to an almost
impossible situation. A Godly Intervention may bring about a miracle;
and, thus, bring astonishment to its surroundings.
I
believe that there are degrees and varieties in the healing that God
provides. There can be a healing to: 1) body, 2) soul, and 3)
spirit.
1)
Healing to the body may come from doctors or from the supernatural workings
from God.
2)
Healing for the soul is a complex issue and involves the deep pain that
comes from unresolved circumstances. This includes the emotional
makeup of a person. If the unresolved problems continue to be
compounded by more problems and the wound of the soul does not have the
release from the problems, it may then be necessary to make a visit to a
clergy, counselor, psychologist, or psychiatrist.
However,
supernatural healing for the soul during the problem stages may come from
the Heavenly Shepherd that speaks comfort from the wonderful promises found
in the Word of God.
PSALM 23 is
not only words on paper, but is a promise that Christ Jesus is my Shepherd
and that He can speak Peace to any weary soul.
3)
As human beings, the spirit of mankind can suffer untold defeat if problems
are not resolved. The spirit of mankind is affected if the body or
soul [the emotions] are not in good order. However, the spirit of
mankind can be brought into a higher plateau by the sincere prayer and
reading of the Word of God. When the spirit of mankind is in tune with
the Spirit of God, the body and soul receives an anointing that will help
the person to look beyond the problems in life.
I,
personally, delight in spiritual healing that comes from the anointing that
God provides. Daily living, at times, causes problems; however, God
can bring about the needed anointing that flows abundantly from the Heavenly
Throne.
I
believe that Healing and Restoration is needed in families, churches, and
nations of the world. God sees the problems in my life or in your
life. [Isaiah,
Chapter 10, Verse 27]
The
Bible makes reference to a yoke. In the olden days, when fields had to be
plowed, the plow was attached to an oxen. And, the oxen pulled the
plow, thus preparing and making the ground ready for planting the needed
crop. Problems are compared to a yoke. Problems weigh heavily
upon the heart, but the anointing from God can break that heaviness so that
it becomes bearable to face each new day.
I
am so glad that God in Heaven sees my need and my joy, and He sees your need
and your joy. Truly, the joy of the Lord is many times the strength
that is needed in negative circumstances. May you also know that the
depth of His Love, that encompasses the universe, also includes me and it
includes you.
The
Godly Storehouse in Heaven has untold treasures that are a Spiritual
Phenomenon. [PSALM
16:11]
Believe
that the Goodness from God can surround you and bring health and restoration
to body, soul, and spirit! [PSALM
18:32]
