ARE
YOU
FLYING
LIKE
AN
EAGLE?

for the June 2005 Halo E-Newsletter]
On
Wednesday, April 20, 2005, while sitting in the living room, I was
drinking ice tea. That morning, I saw the rain saturating the
ground and the drive way. I enjoyed taking that brief repose
that morning. After a brief rest, I was to continue with my
daily tasks that needed to be accomplished.
While
watching the gentle rain and enjoying the view of the colorful
tulips, I suddenly saw a bird flying across the driveway. I
assumed the bird was seeking refuge from the rain that morning.
My
thoughts dwelled upon the all-knowing Knowledge and Wisdom of
God. Scripture tells me about a sparrow: "
... one of them shall not fall on
the
ground without your Father." [Matthew 10:29]
Also, Matthew
10:30 and
31 states: "But the very hairs of your head are all
numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than
many sparrows."
A
long time ago I read about a discussion concerning whether God has a
computer in heaven. The Bible tells me about God keeping
records. I do not worry about the filing system that God has;
however, I firmly believe that - as an engraftet heir to the
heavenly Kingdom
[Galatians 4:1-9]
- you or I have value in His Sight [Romans
8:37].
Do
I fly like an eagle? I am a human being with feelings and
emotions; however, I am grateful that I may place my faith and trust
in the Living God.
Isaiah
40:31 states:
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall
run,
and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
P.S.
On Thursday, April 21, 2005, I was taking care of a number of
tasks. While turning into a street, a large van drove out of
the nearby gas station. The side of the van portrayed two
large bottles of alcoholic beverages. I continued driving the
car, and my heart and soul brought prayers to God for the souls that
personally have not accepted the "Saving
Knowledge of Jesus Christ."

For
many years now, my zeal for the religious writing ministry has
brought about the HALO
MINISTRIES.
The HALO
MINISTRIES
is presently an internet ministry. Without being flamboyant ,
I am grateful to be working for this worthwhile internet
ministry. May I state that "the
Halo Ministries is a worldwide ministry, and the pulpit is located
via http://www.haloministries.net."
It
was toward the end of April 2005, when I was directed to a Christian
website that speaks powerfully about "Women
in Ministry."
Throughout the years [and during this present time] discussions and
emotions have been and do center around the women in ministry.
Each one of us may have strong convictions on many subjects.
Although the HALO
MINISTRIES
is considered nondenominational, the following web pages so aptly
describe, from the Biblical Perspective, the issues concerning women
in ministry.
1.
The article entitled Exploring
Why We Think The Way We Do About
Women
In Ministry,
is written by Rev. George W. Wood, and may be accessed via http://enrichmentjournal.ag.org/200102/008_exploring.cfm.
The web page is a lengthy page; however, the paragraph entitled APPLYING
EARLY-CHURCH RESOLUTION METHODOLOGY TO
THE
WOMEN IN MINISTRY ISSUE
may be of great importance to you.
2.
Another article from the Biblical Perspective so profoundly speaks
about prophets and prophetesses. The article is entitled Rediscovering
the Prophetic
Role of Women,
and is written by Rev. Stanley M. Horton. The web page may be
accessed via http://enrichmentjournal.ag.org/200102/080_prophetic_role.cfm#author.

There
are many people that may have questions concerning "the
Bible" issues. One of the web pages speaks so truthfully
about the issues of the Bible. The web page may be accessed
via http://www.allabouttruth.org/is-the-bible-true-c.htm.

A
profound article is entitled "THE
SIGNS OF THE TIME". You may
access the article via http://www.haloministries.net/AChristianDiaryPg14.htm.
The
Bible speaks much about the return of Jesus [Example:
I Thessalonians
3:16-18,
Etc.]. An
article entitled "WHEN
WILL JESUS RETURN?" was
written some time ago. The article makes reference to the
age-old question of "When
will Jesus return?".
To access the article entitled "WHEN
WILL JESUS RETURN?",
please click http://www.haloministries.net/AChristianDiaryPg15.htm.
IS
"WORSHIP" PART OF YOUR LIFE?
Certainly we all worship when we enter God's House of one's
choice. Recently I was privileged to write an article about
"Worship". To access the article, please click http://www.haloministries.net/AChristianDiaryPg16.htm.
HAVE
YOU FACED INSURMOUNTABLE SITUATIONS IN YOUR LIFE?
The Article "HAVE
HOPE IN GOD!" was
written on February 28, 2005. The Article may be accessed via http://www.haloministries.net/AChristianDiaryPg17.htm.

"WHO

- an excellent Website is entitled
"WHO IS JESUS?"
- Consider the life of Jesus Christ in many languages - You may reach
the Website via http://www.greatcom.org/index.htm.

When
reading profound articles, as noted above, I rejoice that America does
have the freedom to worship God and that He gives peace to one’s
heart and soul.
The
internet is a wonderful tool; however, when selecting websites and/or
articles that are readily made available,
the
internet is then to be surfed with caution and discernment.
