One
late afternoon, the group had an opportunity to eat in the Studio City
Inn. The Inn is also the Home of the Jim Bakker Show that is entitled
the Studio City Cafe. While the "Sonshine" group enjoyed the
delicious meals, to our surprise, Rev. Jim Bakker walked into the
restaurant. Rev. Jim exchanged pleasant conversation with all of
us. The following photos were taken in the studio area of the Studio
City Inn.

Johanna's
Comments: Visiting the Precious Moments Store and the Chapel Center was
a tremendous opportunity for me. The artist, Mr. Sam Butcher,
established worldwide renown via his drawings. Sam is the creator of the
"Precious Moments" movement that is absolutely astounding.
"In
1974, Sam created his first Precious Moments drawing. It was in 1975 when
Precious Moments was introduced to the public. He desired to honor the
Lord by building the Precious Moments Chapel. Since its completion in
1989, thousands of visitors have come to admire Sam's work.
"
'It is my prayer,' the artist says, 'that through my work in the Chapel, I might
share my faith with others and that the Spirit of God might touch the visitor's
hearts and bring them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, our Lord.' "

 The
Precious Moments Chapel is awesome! The tour guide so beautifully
explained that a few of the angels in the pictures represented children from the
artist's family that have gone to Heaven. The picture in the front of the
Chapel encompasses the wall from the top to the the bottom above the
stage. The large display is entitled the "HALLELUJAH SQUARE" -
Giving a Message of Hope and Salvation!

 Next
to the "HALLELUJAH SQUARE," on the side of one wall, there
is also a lovely display of angels entering Heaven
|
 This

Photo Represents "The Pearl of Great Price" - namely,
the Lord Jesus Christ

we see the Good Shepherd going after a lost sheep - Jesus loves the
sinner but does not love sin

Heaven?"

While
walking out of the "Precious Moments" Chapel, there is a Picture
that is a beautiful rendition of a church. The Scripture Verses are
located in Numbers 6:24,25, and 26.

 In
the the Beautiful Garden, a few of the "Sonshiners"

our Stop at McDonald's, Dorothy, our Wonderful Coordinator, sat
with the Statue of Ronald McDonald - DOROTHY: "A BIG
THANK YOU FROM THE 'SONSHINERS' "
|
While
journeying on this earth, may you have the security of knowing that some day
you will walk with the saints that live in Heaven. The security comes
from knowing Jesus Christ as your Personal Saviour. For more
