In
the afternoon of May 18, 2003, 14 passengers [including the bus driver]
entered the 22-passenger church bus for the purpose of traveling to
Branson, Missouri. The "Sonshine Group" [Church Group]
of 14 persons were embarking upon a wonderful trip.
While
traveling toward Branson, Missouri today [May 19th], scenes of trees,
fields, barns, and pastures were viewed from the seat that I and my
husband occupied. We were chewing on pretzels and crackers at
about 10:45 a.m. this morning, May 19th. The sun is presently
hiding behind the clouded sky. Many
exciting places will be seen in Branson. Going on a cruise will be
quite an adventure.
This
morning, as the bus continues to travel mile after mile, the “Sonshine”
group continues to view “The Joseph Story”. The video is
viewed from the 19” TV screen that is conveniently located at the left
side of the front of the bus. A
portion of the story brought joy to my heart. A particular scene
portrayed Joseph standing in front of Pharaoh, ruler of Egypt.
During Joseph‘s second meeting with Pharaoh, Joseph was placed as
second in command throughout that country. Via the wisdom from
God, Joseph had large storage places built. The large storage
places were filled with grain from the seven years of prosperous growth
of grain. Egypt then had much grain during the seven years of
drought; and, therefore was able to help many people.
The
story teaches us that our God revealed himself via dreams during the
Bible times. The same God reveals himself via dreams to the people
in this generation. [Genesis,
