WHAT
IS
TRUE
WORSHIP?

The
word “Worship” may be described as “Adoring or bringing praise.”
I
believe you or I worship “something” or “someone” every
day. I
may worship (or adore) a special food recipe that may be created in my
kitchen. You may adore your spouse and/or your children.
And, the adoration process may expand to other things in one’s life.
When
speaking of adoration, gratefulness also may enter the picture;
therefore, the picture now consists of: 1) Worship; 2)
Adoration; 3) Praise, and 4) Gratefulness.
There
is no doubt that we are to be grateful for what we have in life.
None of us live as yet in eternity; although we all will some day
enter the eternity of one's choice. The human being consists of
body, soul, and spirit. Therefore, we are privileged to worship
the Creator of Heaven and earth.
[Genesis 1:26]
Throughout
the ages, theologians have preached and taught about the spiritual
aspect of mankind. The body, soul, and spirit of mankind is integrally
entwined; however, what you feed your spirit will reflect your daily
worship to the God of Heaven.
I
realize this article speaks on the reflection of self; however, there
is a dimension of worship whereby the God of Heaven can permit His
Spirit to
bless any individual that desires to have communion with the Creator.
Gratefulness
comes from any heart that acknowledges that God sent His
Son to die on Calvary, and is now seated at the Right Hand of the
Heavenly Father. It is the Heavenly Father that sends His Spirit
when you or I present “True Worship to God.” [John
4:23,24]

24, 2003] My husband and I received a Religious Brochure
recently. This Brochure carries a profound article. The
article is thought-provoking; therefore, I asked permission to publish
the article for the May
Halo E-Newsletter.
The article reads as follows:
When
I say... I AM A
CHRISTIAN, I am not
shouting, “I am saved,”
I am whispering I was lost “That’s why I choose this way.”
When I say...I AM A
CHRISTIAN, I don’t
speak of this with pride,
I am confessing that I stumble and need someone to be my guide.
When I say...I AM A
CHRISTIAN, I am not
trying to be strong,
I am professing that I am weak and pray for strength to carry on.
When I say...I
AM A CHRISTIAN, I
am not bragging of success,
I am admitting I have failed and cannot ever pay the debt.
When I say...I
AM A CHRISTIAN, I
am not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are too visible, but God believes I am worth it.
When I say... I AM
A CHRISTIAN, I
still feel the sting of pain,
I have my share of heartaches, which is why I speak His Name.
When I say...I
AM A CHRISTIAN, I
do not wish to judge,
I have no authority, I only know I am loved.

A F.L.A.M.E. CONFERENCE [FLY LIKE A MIGHTY EAGLE] TOOK
PLACE
ON APRIL 24-26, 2003 IN THE CLEVELAND, OHIO AREA.
Marcia
Kendall is the Founder of the F.L.A.M.E. International. The
Flame Conference featured outstanding speakers. I was
tremendously blessed to have had the opportunity to attend the Flame
Conference. The banquets and the fellowship with other people
were enjoyable. I trust that more of these types of conferences

THE NEWS AROUND THE WORLD TELLS US OF CHAOS AND WAR. Not only do
grown-ups cope and/or empathize with the happenings occurring in daily
lives, but, also, children have questions about what is happening
because of terrorism and war.
The

Bible Society’s website
recently sent an email message that complimented the Halo
Ministries’ website.
Also, reference was made to the movies that are presented via the
American Bible Society website. I clicked into the website http://www.constanthope.org/scripturelets/index.html.
The designated movie entitled “You
Don’t Have To Be Afraid”
is a profound movie.
I
highly recommend the above-mentioned movie in the event you want to
share the insights with the children about the tragedies that occur in
one’s life. The movie entitled "You
Don't Have To Be Afraid"
is an excellent rendition for children and profoundly explains the
tragedies to the children. Also, the information of how to
respond to the children from a grown-up perspective is, indeed, very
helpful.
