HEAVENLY
STRENGTH

Throughout
the many years I have had the privilege to write numerous
poems. Poetry is written in various styles. Also,
poems have been written that speak about
many subjects. On February 7, 2005, I again wrote a
poem. That morning, during my prayer time, my thoughts
focused upon the majesty of Almighty God. I am so grateful
that I have the opportunity to enter the awesome presence of God
via the service in a church and/or during the private time that is
devoted to prayer.
For
the April/May 2005 E-Newsletter, may the poem "HEAVENLY
STRENGTH"
be a blessing to you. Be thankful that Christ rules and
reigns from the portals of Heaven [I
John 2:1,2].
HEAVENLY
STRENGTH
Written

My
life, Lord, has seen mountaintops
And
valleys that are very deep
Through
it all I found contentment upon my knees.
Lord
Jesus You died for me
And
for mankind You paved the way
So
that souls may enter Eternity now and always.
Daily
I ask that Your Presence abide
And
that You walk with me side by side.
A
vessel I want to continue to be
That
points souls to the cross of Calvary.
And
when my life on earth is done,
I
will then enter Heaven for years to come!

March 15th I read the 1974 article that was written by Corrie Ten
Boom. Many years ago, Corrie Ten Boom and her sister were in
the concentration camp in Ravensbruck "because they committed
the crime of loving Jews." The article is entitled "A

When
reading profound articles, as noted above, I rejoice that America
does have the freedom to worship God and that He gives peace to one’s
heart and soul.
