"EASTER
2007"
Written
by Johanna Hobrath
It
is a beautiful tradition to commemorate the Easter Holiday. The
2007 calendar designates April 8th to be the "Easter
Sunday".
We are
reminded on that weekend that our dear
Saviour died on the cross of
Calvary for all mankind, and He rose again triumphantly over hell,
death, and the grave [Revelation
1:18].
As
a Christian [John
3:3] I
rejoice that my Saviour did not remain in the grave. Acts
1:8-11
confirms the fact that Christ has risen and makes intercession for you
and I [I
John 2:1,2,].
It is a privilege to know this Saviour that is alive and loves mankind.

Web Page via http://www.haloministries.net/Salvation.htm.
It
was during the month of March (2007) when I had the opportunity to watch
a TBN television program. The film that was televised is entitled "THE
MOMENT AFTER".
The film lasted 1-½ hours and portrayed realistic events of the
(*)
"RAPTURE".
The movie showed scenarios of people that had disappeared. Those
events were investigated, and to most people no explanation could be had. However, some of the people,
that were portrayed in the movie, finally realized that what they had been told from Scripture was,
indeed, taking place, and that Christ had returned and "Raptured"
the
believers.

We
are presently in the beginning of the 2007 Spring Season [3/21/2007].
This season will once again produce daffodils, crocus and an assortment
of spring flowers. In order for the annual flowers and/or vegetables to
beautify the surroundings in the coming months, the ground in one’s garden will have to be
cultivated.
In
a recent Bible teaching (March 2007), the cultivation process was also
compared to the spiritual cultivation.
I
believe that Jesus gives each person the opportunity to cultivate one’s
spiritual life. Christ can give us blessings that make our eyes produce
tears during prayers and/or adoration to God and, thus, saturate our hearts and souls. Although we must fulfill
our daily tasks, it is important for me to saturate and cultivate my
heart with prayer, Bible reading, and/or Bible study. After all, I want
to some day walk with Jesus in the Heavenly Realm; and, therefore, allow
him to saturate my heart/soul while journeying on the "Path of
Righteousness" that leads to the Glorious Eternity - namely, Heaven.
