FORGIVENESS

Have
you ever wondered how a writer is inspired to create a poem, an
article, or a book?
The
April 2003 Newsletter is being created by sharing profound thoughts
and/or happenings from my perspective.
There
are times when God places special blessings and/or anointing into my
soul. Those times are then sacred to me; and, from the selfish
perspective, I then desire that those times be hidden into the corner
of my heart.
Today,
March 2,
2003, I am writing about selfish happenings; however, I believe
that God is pleased with my sharing this article via the April 2003
Newsletter.
This
morning, Sunday, March 2nd, I was awakened at approximately 5:00
a.m. My soul desired to have communion with my God; and,
therefore, I knelt beside the bed and prayed. An anointing
flooded my soul so that my eyes were stained with tears.
(When
people read this article, they may say, “That sounds to me to be
peculiar." However, the Bible makes such a statement in Titus
2:13 and 14.)
Experiencing
supernatural blessings is not only meant for me, but other sincere
Christians may experience such a happening when seeking the Maker of
Heaven and earth.
Sunday
morning (03-02-03), while walking along the corridor, I shook hands
with a woman; and, later, I talked to the same person in the pew where
I and that person were seated. During the worship service, I
brought a wrongful attitude to the Lord and prayed, “Lord, forgive
that person and me, etc.”
Also,
on Sunday
morning, March 2, 2003, while listening to a sermon, the Pastor
stated, in essence: “When a person faces a crises, he/she will
call upon the Pastor to pray. The Pastor will use the Word of
God and give the answer to the requested need.”
I
believe that no President of the U.S.A., no president of any
company, no
husband, no wife, etc., are liked by everyone; however, we need to
pray for those that may be unkind to us.
Jesus
taught forgiveness in the Lord’s Prayer [Matthew
6:9-13].
The Highway to Holiness requires that we live
a life that pleases God through Jesus Christ and by His Spirit; and,
that requirement includes asking Jesus for forgiveness when wrongful
actions occur.
On
December 14, 1990 [information recorded in one of my journal books], I
wrote the following”

magnitude of God’s Holiness can never be fully comprehended
by mortal beings; however, as a believer, I can strive to be
more like Jesus in my everyday life.”
