I
believe each human being has a story to tell. I believe the Bible
to be the Word of God, and humanity may receive encouragement, wisdom,
and the guidance for walking on the "Path
of Righteousness".
Of course, it is important that I believe that God exists.
Psalm,
16:8 and 11 states: "I have set the LORD always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. "Thou
wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy
at thy right hand there are pleasures for ever more."
As
a human being, I have emotions like everyone else. Also, many
people have experienced emotional upheaval, such as: joy, sorrow,
pain, disappointments, etc. Life may not always be a bed of roses;
however, "Jesus
is considered the 'Rose of Sharon' "
[Song of
Solomon 2:1] and
He is part of the Holy Trinity that you and I may pray to on a daily
basis. When I think about flowers, I think about the variety of
colors and/or fragrances that those flowers portray.
This
winter [2007], Ohio and other parts of the country have experienced an
abundance of snow. While we had a mild climate during the early
part of winter, I stated: "But winter is coming".
Now that we are
experiencing the harshness of winter, I am stating: "But spring is
coming". It is our awesome God [Genesis
1:26] that
created the uniqueness of the four seasons. Genesis
8:22 "While
the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer
and winter, and day and night shall not cease."
We
delight when the sun is shining; however, we also know that the weather
brings rain. Dear Reader: May the "Son"
[Jesus Christ]
be part of your life, no matter what circumstances you are facing.
Remember, the "Spring" season is coming; and, that Jesus will
shine forever in the Glorious Eternity [Revelation
21:23]!
