QUEST
FOR
TRUTH

TRUTH? *My
dictionary tells me that truth is:
1.
The state or character of being true in relation to being,
knowledge, or speech.
2.
Conformity to fact or reality.
3.
Conformity to rule, standard, pattern, or ideal.
4.
Steadfastness; sincerity.
5.
That which is true; a statement or belief that corresponds to the
reality.
6.
Fact; reality.
7.
A disposition to tell only what is true; veracity.
8.
Fidelity; constancy.

I
am not a professor; however, the knowledge gleaned from professors
does help the student to expand his or her knowledge in the area of
his or her chosen profession.
The
truth is that God, in His Divine Providence, permits me to reside in
America. (Some day, I hope to publish the autobiography
entitled "THE
LIFE OF A WOMAN OF GOD".)
The
Truth is: As a married person, I or you, if you are
married, have relatives on both sides of the family.
The
Truth is: The majority of people have to work for a
living.
Many
more truth factors may be listed from the happenings that occur in
the society of today.
Recently
[February 2003] I had an opportunity to speak to a person that has
practiced religion within several denominations. I expressed
my surprise when she indicated that she teaches buddhism.
There
is no doubt that some truth exists within numerous religions.
However, what "Truth" leads to Heaven?
I
thank God for godly men and women that teach the truth via God’s
Holy Word.
Jesus
stated in the Scripture:
". . . I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE: NO MAN
COMETH UNTO THE FATHER, BUT MY ME." [JOHN 14:6]
If
you follow the truth in Christ, are you then sheltered from the
forces of evil? I firmly believe that the SECURITY IN CHRIST
gives the assurance of some day walking the Streets of Gold in
Glory! [REVELATION
21:21]
The
following Scripture Verses speak about the strong faith in Christ:
"Now
he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is
God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in
our hearts." II CORINTHIANS 1:21 and 22.
