THE
LOVE
OF
GOD

01/30/05] It was during the month of December 2004, when I was
reviewing the years of my life. Being an older adult,
undoubtedly I have experienced joy, sorrow, and pain throughout the
past years. I believe people love to experience the mountain
top experiences in life and, therefore, live a life that speaks of
wonderful happenings.
To
be realistic, you only have to listen and view the news from the
television screen and you will hear about the occurrences within the
culture where we live, and/or the happenings of the culture in other
parts of the world. When we do hear and see the conflicts in
the news media, we could say “such is life.”
Today,
December 8, 2004, while reflecting upon the status of my life, I
desired that within my family circle there could have been more
happier moments. I see where my own heart seeks forgiveness
for those that have unjustly hurt me; and, therefore, I must
continue to extend “Christian Love” to those that may be
unloving.
Have
you ever thought how much God loves the human race? Perhaps a
few individuals have been unloving; and, yet, God had sent His Only
Son about 2000 years ago for the purpose of redeeming the human race
throughout the ages past, present, and future. We serve a LOVING
AND AWESOME GOD!
Today
and in the future [12/08/04; 01/30/05] I shall dwell upon the
Scripture in Philippians
4:8 . . .

month of February 2005 reminds us of Valentine’s Day. During
that time, flowers and/or candies are given to people that you
love. Today, January 14, 2005, I read a very touching story
about a girl that gave 57 cents, an indication of her love for a new
church. What do you suppose those 57 cents turned into?
