THE
CHAMBER OF HIS
LOVE

When
reading the foregoing title, what comes to your mind? The word
“chamber” usually indicates a place of privacy. And, the word
“love” signifies a variety of the types of love that exist in this
world. There is a spiritual love that exists in denominational
circles. The love of God, however, is a love that transcends time
and space and is eternal.
If
you believe in praying to the God of Heaven, you then will find the
prayer chamber [any place that you may use for praying to God] a place
where you open your heart, so to speak, and, thus, bring the prayer
petitions and/or praise and worship to the Holy Throne of God. [Philippians
4:6]
This
morning [January 10, 2003] I focused upon the bountiful love that God
has toward mankind. He sent His Saviour to a world that needed His
Light and Love for the purpose “to save those that are lost.” [Matthew
18:11] The
discouraged hearts with heavy, daily cares may be enveloped with the
boundless love that Christ has for all mankind. While we
commemorate February as a month that shares love to spouses, family
members, and other people, may we remember that Christ’s Abundant Love
never fails in this life and in the life to come.
