busy making preparation for the holidays. Those preparations may
include: cleaning the house for the holidays, decorating for the
holidays, baking for the holidays, and buying gifts for the holidays,
etc. The business of the season is to be cherished.
Remember -- this beautiful season only happens once a year!
Although
this article is being published for the JANUARY 2003 HALO NEWSLETTER,

December 12, 2002, I attended a supervisory meeting that included a
Christmas celebration. During that meeting, a Catholic nun read
the above article entitled “BIRTHDAY

Christ
came into this world as a baby and was born in a lowly stable.
Mankind came into this world as babies with souls that were given from
God. As the innocent baby grows, it reaches an age when a choice
of eternal life is made. The choice of eternity is crucial
because eternity is forever. God does love us. Christmas
is a reminder of this Great Love. Rejoicing and being with
Christ and the saints some day is for all people--if and when
