"The
Bible speaks about Godly revelations to mankind. Are Godly revelations
prevalent in today's Christian circles? And are they to be taken as
authentic revelations from God?
"Before
concluding the writing of this booklet, I, Johanna Stang Hobrath, wish to
share 'A REAL VISION' that occurred in the early morning hours of January 26,
1990.

THE
ILLUMINATED HAND - A REAL VISION
(Written:
FEBRUARY 17, 1990)
"It
is a Saturday. On a day like this, it is usually a 'relaxing' day in our
home. Today, however, my husband did not come home at noon, due to the
fact that he is at a religious men's convention.
"I
washed a couple loads of laundry. Most of the time a meal is prepared
for my family. Because the spinach/pizza casserole was not completely
eaten yesterday, I, therefore, did not cook another meal today. Later in
the day, a beef roast for Sunday will be seasoned. Tomorrow morning, the
roast will be placed into the oven prior to my husband and I driving to the
church where we worship.
"Also,
today, I read several chapters from Psalms--one
of the requirements of the 'Judges Stage and United Kingdom Stage' study, and
a prerequisite for my Bible Diploma.
"I
am an overage homemaker, and I take pride in keeping an orderly home.
Also, I pursue other duties that the Lord places on my heart.
"My
health is good. I seldom have sleepless nights.
"Twenty-two
days ago, I experienced a unusual happening. For some reason, on January
25 (1990) I could not fall asleep. My thoughts focused on the goodness of the
Lord, as well as on some unpleasant church happenings that occurred over the
past five years.
"That
night, twenty-two days ago, my face was resting on my arm. My eyes were
closed. Suddenly, without being frightened, I saw 'A Hand' from a right
angle. 'The Hand' had an illumination similar to the glow of a
fluorescent bulb. (There are no such bulbs in our home at the present
time--February 17, 1990.)
"THE
ILLUMINATED HAND"
"(Additional
Thoughts: Today, July 28, 1994, I am again reminded of 'THE
ILLUMINATED HAND VISION' that occurred on January 26, 1990. The Vision
was authentic. Since January 26, 1990, God has permitted me to see
numerous Visions. Many Visions, that God has given to me, appear in
other manuscripts that I was privileged to write.
"(Additional
Thoughts: On August 20, 1994, while thinking about 'THE ILLUMINATED
HAND VISION,' I was again reminded that there is a 'God
in Heaven.' Daniel 2:28
states, 'But there is a
God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh
known . . . .'
The continuation of 'THE ILLUMINATED HAND VISION' is as follows:)
"
* Illuminated, no veins were visible
"
* The small finger and part of the arm were more visible
"
* The fingers that were visible, were large and round
"
* The entire hand was in a 'cup' position
"
* 'THE ILLUMINATED HAND' showed:
1. Strength
2. Love
3. Mercy
4. Illumination
5. Power
"
* The glow was not of this world
"
* The presence was a 'presence of peace'
"
* Although the glow was of an illuminated type, the background (between
fingers) was partially red
"
* I was very much aware of time--five seconds seemed like Eternity
"
* The length of the Vision, short
"
* The exact duration of the Vision, uncertain
"
* 'The Throne?' (God's Throne during that Vision was not visible)
"
* An audible voice--no
"
* The significance of the Vision:
1.
Judgment
2.
Goodness or Mercy
"After
the Vision ceased, I was led to write the Vision in a brief form. That
particular morning, I typed the Vision, etc.
"It
is now 22 days later that I write this summary.
"This
is not done for fame, but I feel in my heart to share this with the
public. There is a God in Heaven! A day of judgment will come for
all of us.
"Those
that do not accept Christ as their Saviour will live in the terrible
Christless eternity. (Remember--'You still have grace in God's sight.')
"Christians
will also be judged--according to their works.
"On
February 17, 1990 I researched and/or was directed to the following Bible
