REAMS AND/OR VISIONS - PAGE 1 - #12

Written by Johanna Hobrath

Dear Reader:

When viewing and reading the HALO MINISTRIES' Dreams and/or Visions, may you be open minded - no matter what your denominational stand.  Dreams and Visions were prominent in Bible Times and, certainly, Godly Dreams and/or Visions are prominent in this day and age.  Caution should always be in the forefront when discerning and/or comprehending a Spiritual Dream and/or Vision.  The five questions - as stated in one of the following paragraphs - are always good questions to ask when discerning and/or reading about today's Dreams and/or Visions.

Ultimately, God hears and sees what is being done with the Dreams and/or Visions that come from the Heavenly Portal where God, His angels, and saints reside.

May your heart be blessed, and may you find the ultimate peace that God gives through Christ Jesus that died and rose again victoriously for me and for you.  (JOHN 3:16).  Johanna

On September 20, 2001, I recorded the thoughts about the Subject entitled "VISIONS AND/OR DREAMS."

Although much is gleaned from the Bible about "Visions," today I was pondering about the video that I, my husband, and my son viewed. The video spoke about a person that prophesied about America.

(November 8, 2001) God does reveal Himself via Godly Dreams and/or Visions in today's society, thus signifying a revelation for the individual and/or for these End Times.  In the event that God, via His Holy Spirit, encourages me to expand upon the subject of Visions and/or Dreams, I will then obediently expand upon this subject and share many more Godly Dreams and/or Visions that have occurred (or are occurring).

When hearing about Visions and/or Dreams that an individual shares, I, personally, question the validity of that person.

QUESTIONS . . .

1.  Does the person have faith in the Living God (Hebrews 11:6)?

2.  Is he or she living a Godly Life?

3.  Is that person a believer in God's Word (Psalm 119:105)?

4.  Does the Vision or Dream line up with God's Word

    (Acts 2:17 and 18)?

5.  What is the purpose of the Dream and/or Vision (Romans 8:28)?

A Dream/Vision was recorded on March 13, 2001 and reads as follows:

THE BRIDE (WORLDWIDE, BORN-AGAIN BELIEVERS)

March 13, 2001

When Christ walked this earth with His disciples, He shared many happenings from every-day occurrences; therefore, the people related to the Heavenly Kingdom.  A few parables of that day are:

Tares among the wheat ... Matthew 13:24-30

The hidden treasure ... Matthew 13:44

The full net ... Matthew 13:47-48

The unmerciful servant ... Matthew 18:23-34

Laborers in the vineyard ... Mathew 18:23-34

The father and two sons ... Matthew 20:28-32

Wise and foolish virgins ... Matthew 25:1-13

The talents ... Matthew 25:14-30

The sheep and the goats ... Matthew 25:42-476

Growth of a seed of grain ... Mark 4:26-29

Etc.

My philosophy makes me think--time and time again--how dependent we are upon God that reigns over all (Matthew 5:45).  This was once again proven to me within the last couple days.  I again attended a wonderful worship service on Sunday, March 11, 2001.  On March 12th, God gave me an awesome dream that spoke volumes to my heart.  However, when the morning of March 12th arrived, I could hardly get out of bed.  (This is unusual for me, because I am a person that likes to be "on the go" and get things done--no matter if it is for my family and/or for the HALO MINISTRIES.)  Monday, March 12, 2001, was a day that was totally spent in bed, due to the flu that is making its round in this area.  Today, Tuesday, March 13th, I am grateful to be able to continue my daily routine--household chores, praying, reading my Bible, writing, etc.

What was the "Significant Dream of March 11-12?"  I firmly believe that "Spiritual Dreams must have a Biblical Significance."  Time and time again that has been proven in my life, and I am so grateful that, time and time again, God speaks to me also by giving me those "Spiritual Dreams and/or Visions."

Dear Reader:  Before reading the following article, may I suggest that you read and believe the Web Site entitled SALVATION.

THE DREAM

In the dream, I viewed a large, old-fashioned saloon.  I saw many people trying to have a good time while they were drinking alcohol and visiting with one another.  What was unusual in the dream?  I saw a Bride, clothed in a pure, white, fluffy gown.  At the top of the head, the Bride wore a veil that did not cover the face.  I continued seeing this Bride because of her pure, white gown.  The Bride walked to the door.  The door had a see-through window pane.  The pane was located at the top of the door and its design was in a square shape.  The Bride kept looking out of the window, as if to wait for the Bridegroom to ride into town in a white horse.

THE INTERPRETATION

We know that Christ will not return on a  white stallion, but will return from Heaven for the "Worldwide, Born-Again Believers" that is representative of the "Bride of Christ."  The Bride in the saloon represents the believers that find themselves at home, in the workplace, etc.  Indeed we are not a people living by ourselves, but do live in a world that is representative of a saloon - or, perhaps, worse.  The Holy Scripture tells me:  "Therefore be ye also ready:  for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."  Matthew 24:44

I may live in this world; however, as part of the "Bride of Christ" I am reminded of the Scripture that tells me that Jesus prayed:  "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.  Sanctify them through thy truth:  thy word is truth."  (John 17:15,17)

The Bride in the saloon kept her garment pure and white, and she continued to look for her Bridegroom.

P.S.  This evening, November 10, 2001, my husband and I attended a lovely wedding reception.  A dear lady spoke about the Lord attending a wedding celebration and the miracle of Him turning the water into wine.  The lady gave a beautiful prayer, and, then, the married couple and the many guests participated in a delicious wedding dinner.

Some day a Wedding Celebration will take place in Heaven (Revelation 19:5-10).
