August 19 ~ Christ, The Power And Wisdom Of God

Is Christ Divided?(1)  For Christ sent the apostle to preach the Gospel, not with wisdom of words.(2)  It is written that the understanding of the prudent be brought to naught.(3)  And they preached Christ crucified;(4) but unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ, the power of God, and the wisdom of God.(5)

Know ye not that the foolishness of God is wiser than men?(1) For God called not many wise men after the flesh.(2)  But God chose the foolish of this world to amaze the wise.(3)  But ye who are in Christ, ye received wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption;(4) so that you may glory in the Lord.(5)
