SEPTEMBER

THE
PRECIOUS WORD OF GOD TELLS US . . . .
GOD
IS STILL IN THE MIRACLE-WORKING BUSINESS . . . .
IS
ANYTHING REALLY TRUSTWORTHY?
- written by an 11-Year-Old Girl
The
article entitled “THE UNCHANGEABLE NEVER-ENDING
GOD” was written on September 9,
2001.
Today,
September 13, 2001, my husband purchased a newspaper. The front page of
the September 13th paper shows a large photograph of the collapsed World Trade
Center. This terrible situation occurred because of the September 11th
terrorism. Today's news is filled with sad stories of missing people,
the fatalities of passengers and the crews of the airplanes that were used for
such a terrible crime.
I
can somewhat relate to the people that have relatives and friends that died
because of the terrible happenings at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon,
and the happening in Somerset, Pennsylvania. While viewing the recent
news segment from the television screen, people were holding pictures of loved
ones that may be in the hospitals, in the destroyed towers, or
elsewhere. My thoughts then focused upon World War II when, as a young
girl, I and my two brothers had to leave Janova Lehota, Czechoslovakia (the
birthplace), not knowing if we would ever see our parents again.
In
today’s terrible tragedy in America, the “Sustaining Power of God through
Jesus Christ” can give comfort and peace “that
passes all understanding.” Philippians 4:7
America
will rebuild every sector that has been affected. God gave to us leaders
that will justify the act of war. As
a citizen of America -- but, most of all, as a citizen of the Heavenly Kingdom
-- I shall continue to pray for the United States of America.
Last
evening, while at a prayer meeting, I and my prayer partner (my husband) and
many of the groups of two-by-two prayed individually and corporately (in
groups of two-by-two) and according to the requested order, for President Bush
and the many other names that represented the President’s Cabinet.
Through the “private” and/or “corporate” prayers, God sees and hears
the petitions of people’s hearts.
During
one of the televised news presentations of the recent days, my heart
rejoiced when I saw the Congress -- House of the Senate, and the House of
Representatives -- jointly bringing prayer petitions to the Heavenly Father.
My
Bible tells me in Hebrews 13:5 and II Corinthians 1:3,4,5
“Let
your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things
as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake
thee.”
“Blessed
be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and
the God of all comfort;
“Who
comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them
which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are
comforted of God.
“For
as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth
by Christ.”
While
searching the Scripture Verses today (September 13, 2001), PSALM
46 can be applied to America.
September
15, 2001
On
September 14, 2001, the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. conducted a
National Prayer Service. The song “AMERICA
THE BEAUTIFUL” is a profound song that was
presented and televised during the Prayer Service. The “LORD’S
PRAYER” was also presented during the sobering
Prayer Service that took place in the National Cathedral.
Although
the Rev. Billy Graham walked slowly to the preacher's podium, his comforting,
truthful and forceful Message brought a spiritual stirring to my heart.
Indeed, in times like these, God continues to be the strength to a Nation that
so desperately needs God’s Guidance and Wisdom.
Also,
the President of the United States of America, Honorable George W. Bush,
brought a consoling and a profound speech at the National Prayer Service at
the Washington's Cathedral. Many people as well as other dignitaries
attended the National Prayer Service in Washington, D.C.
This
morning, December 11, 2001, I had an urgent tugging in my heart to pray;
however, I and my husband viewed and listened to the world news from the
television screen. After viewing and listening to the news, I recorded
"A PRAYER".

A
PRAYER (JEREMIAH 33:3)
(DECEMBER
11, 2001)

HEAVENLY
FATHER, while
seeing the news from the television screen today, my heart remembers
the many lives that were crushed by the rubble of the New York's twin
towers. I remember the news about the crushed section of
America' Pentagon and the third incident in Pennsylvania.
HEAVENLY FATHER, I, as part of the American people, may not understand
why such tragedies were permitted to occur; however, today, three
months later, may I bring to You the pain of those families and
friends that no longer have a spouse, a son, a daughter, a relative, a
fire fighter or a police person. While the Season of Christmas
brings memories that arise from the emotions of joy and/or pain, may
we all remember the great sacrifice that You, HEAVENLY FATHER, made to
mankind; namely, giving the Holy Son JESUS CHRIST to a world that
needed a Saviour. JESUS, You cleanse the souls of mankind and
You bring physical and emotional healing to hurting lives. With
tears and humility I beseech You, HEAVENLY FATHER, surround America
and the World with Your Divine Love, surround us with Your Divine
Guidance, and surround us with Your Divine Wisdom. I ask this
humbly in JESUS' Name. Amen!

Today,
December 20, 2001, I am publishing a Diary Entry of a Vision from September
16, 2001.
This
morning, December 20th, I viewed and listened, for a few minutes, to the news
via the television screen. Mr. Joe M. Allbaugh, the FEMA Director, was
speaking about the clearing of the rubble from the September 11th tragedy that
occurred in New York. While Mr. Allbaugh spoke, a film clip was shown to
the TV audience. This film clip spoke to my heart and, therefore, the
September 16th American Vision is being published onto the Halo Ministries Web
Site.
The
Film Clip:
A steel beam from the rubble of the New York’s Twin Towers was on the
ground. The one-piece beam displayed a symmetry of the cross. The
words - on the top and on the side of the cross beam - stated “SAVE”.
Johanna’s
Question: “Will America always remember the Cross?”
THE
SEPTEMBER
16TH AMERICAN
VISION
Written
by Johanna Hobrath
In
the early morning hours (September 16, 2001, approximately 3:00 a.m.), I was
awakened. While I was awake, my thoughts dwelled upon the rubbles of the
World Trade Center. I prayed for the situation that encompassed the
destruction of the buildings, the broken and pain in people’s lives, and for
wisdom for the leaders of America.
While
praying, I saw the pile of rubble. I assumed the pile of rubble was the
pile from the twin towers of the World Trade Center. I was awake, but my
eyes were closed. While viewing the rubble, I saw a Cross toward the back
of the pile of rubble. The Cross was standing (floating) in a
distance. It was centered between the center and the right side.
The
Significance?
America
will rebuild from the New York‘s devastation and the ramification of that
devastation. The Cross is not only a symbol, but signifies what Christ has
done for you and for me.
America
will continue to unite. God is the Head of this Country. We do live
in the End Times, and Christ’s Return is eminent.
The
Cross signifies the Love of God (JOHN 3:16),
and that souls have the opportunity to accept the Salvation through Christ
Jesus. (See the article entitled SALVATION)
In
the dark hours of World War II, God protected me. Through many trials,
sorrows and joys God was and continues to be the Heavenly Father through Jesus
Christ my Lord and by His Holy Spirit.
P.S.
The rubble and the Cross in the Vision also signify the American Government and
the Divine Presence of God!

September
17, 2001
The
“PLAIN DEALER” newspaper (Cleveland, Ohio) displayed a picture of the rubble
from the World Trade Center. The picture showed three New York firemen
raising the American Flag.
The
memories of the tragic occurrences will forever be inscribed in the hearts and
lives of people, and in the pages of American and World history.
REMEMBER
. . .
GOD
HEARS AND SEES THE CRIES AND TEARS
OF
PEOPLE’S HEARTS!

The
PRECIOUS WORD OF GOD tells us:
For
the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places: and he will
make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy
and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of
melody. Isaiah 51:3
For
whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we
through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Romans
15:4
Now
the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward
another according to Christ Jesus: Romans
15:5
Blessed
be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the
God of all comfort; II Corinthians 1:3
Who
comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which
are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
II
Corinthians 1:5

GOD
IS STILL IN THE
MIRACLE-WORKING
BUSINESS
(January
9, 2002) Today I received a lovely card with a brief note from a
Christian woman that I have known for many years. This lovely card spoke
volumes to me. Why? The note in that card gave me (Johanna Hobrath)
permission to publish an extremely profound school assignment by an
11-year-old girl. The girl is the granddaughter to the Christian
woman. This profound school assignment makes reference to the September
11th tragedy. The school assignment also makes reference to the Healing
Power of God in this eleven-year-old girl's life. May this girl's school
assignment also speak to your heart.
IS
ANYTHING REALLY TRUSTWORTHY?
Written
by *Deborah,
Eleven-Year-Old Girl
Hello,
I am an eleven-year-old girl who has a really good life. I have three
sisters. *Jennifer
is nine years old and dances with me. *Karen
is four years old and cuddles with me. *Gabriella
is two and plays chase and screaming games with me. They can annoy me
sometimes, but most of the times they are my best buddies. My dad is a
pastor, a great one at that. My mom is the music minister in our
church. She directs the choirs (kids and adult). I have a very,
very secure life...or so I thought.
September
11th...It was a normal day. I got up at 6:30 a.m., which is far too
early for anyone, got on the bus around 7:10 a.m., and got to school as usual
at 7:30 a.m. Right before third period I heard *Caroline,
one of my friends, say something about some planes crashing into some
buildings. I had no idea where these buildings were. In fact, I
thought they were somewhere in Europe. I still did not quite get it when
one of my teachers mentioned it in class.
By
lunch I was beginning to understand what was happening. This was not
just happening to another country; this was happening here, as close as
Washington D.C. which was only an hour and half away from me! I felt
scared. There were so many rumors going around about it all, I did not
know what to believe.
It
all made sense when I got home. My mom explained everything to me.
I began to realize this was not the safe country that I had imagined it to
be. I have always trusted that we are a safe country and that the
government would catch any bombs that flew through the air before they landed
on the ground and exploded, but these were not bombs. They were our own
planes, filled to the brim with people. I have learned now that even
though we have a great country, peace and safety only come from God. He
is trustworthy, but man's security cannot always be trusted.
There
was also another time in my life that I felt let down . . .
I
do a lot of gymnastics. It is my favorite sport. In February,
2000, I started having a lot of pain. By March I could hardly do a
back-walkover. It hurt to bend my wrists and it also hurt my back when I
tried to do a bridge. I felt tired all the time.
We
started going to doctors. The third one told me I had Juvenile
Rheumatoid Arthritis. Arthritis - my body had failed me. My immune
system was not trustworthy, but God is always trustworthy. In fact, He
healed me. After a year of much pain, blood tests, and shots, I can do a
back-walkover again. I am no longer taking any medication. Even my
doctor, who is one of the best in his field, is amazed at what has happened.
Now,
back to September 11th...I am a Christian, and it is not just because my Dad
is the pastor of my church. Well, last February God called me to be a
missionary. No big deal, right? Wrong! He called me to be a
missionary to Pakistan. I even got a Pakistani flag last summer.
Then,
there was the bombing of September 11th. Osama Bin Laden did it. I
just know it. I also know that Pakistan and the Taliban support
him. It is a total let down. All I can do now is pray.
I
am still going there someday. In fact, my theme Bible verse for this
year is.
"Then,
I heard the voice of the Lord saying: 'Whom shall I send, and who will
go for us?' And I said, 'Here I am Lord. Send me.'"
(Isaiah 6:8)
I
have found that nothing is totally trustworthy except God. I just hope
that I can be more like Him every day.

Note: Only the Names have been changed
from
this Eleven-Year-Old Girl's School Report)
