Johanna Stang Hobrath was born in Janova Lehota, Slovakia. In 1951, she entered the United States of America with her parents, brothers, and sisters.

In 1957, Johanna graduated from high school and entered a secretarial career. Also, in 1957 she received the United States Citizenship.

In 1963, Johanna and Adam Hobrath were united in Holy Matrimony. Adam and Johanna have two sons.

Attending Church Services is important to the writer.

In 1989, through unusual circumstances, God directed Johanna to enroll in a Bible Correspondence Course. The four-year Bible Correspondence Course covered a thorough study of the entire WORD OF GOD. The Bible Course included twelve Doctrinal Studies, Christian Counseling, Study of the Cults, Christian Witnessing, Christian Writing, and Hermeneutics. After the completion of the Bible Correspondence Course, Johanna received a General Bible Course Diploma from the Liberty Home Bible Institute. The Liberty Home Bible Institute is located in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Johanna's goal is to proclaim God's Holy Word and her Godly, spiritual insight; and she greatly appreciates the writing talent that God has given to her.

* (February/March 2003) At the present time (2/3-2003), Johanna is a pastoral care person via a Hospital's Pastoral Care Department. Johanna encounters many blessings through that ministry. Most of all, God sees the spiritual conditions of the giver and/or the receiver. Giving encouragement and spiritual help to those that need understanding and the guidance from God's Holy Word is a privilege.

* (September 10, 2003) In July of this year (2003), I knew that my 2-year commitment to the Stephen Ministry was completed in September of this year. I prayed and asked God to let me know if I should continue with the Program in September. One week later, God confirmed to me that I am to resign from that Program.

Today, September 10, 2003, I was driving along my home street. I then made a turn to another street, and, while doing so, I looked to the sky. This morning the sky was gray; however, while looking at the sky, I saw a formation of a circle. The circle had white clouds and the sun was shining onto the white clouds. The sun made a cascade of golden rays that covered the gray sky from that circle. This type of picture was absolutely awesome! While viewing this glorious scenario, my heart jumped for joy and I whispered - I REALLY WANTED TO SHOUT OUT LOUD - "God in Heaven, I love You!"

There are times when God brings special blessings into one's lifetime. During the days of August 15 to September 12 2004, my husband and I had the privilege to travel to Europe with another couple. One of the highlights was the opportunity to see the town where I was born. The name of the town is Janova Lehota in Slovakia. The previous paragraph stated: "There are times when God brings special blessings into one's life". On March 25, 2008 I completed a "Counseling Program" that is entitled "Caring for People God's Way." The "Counseling Program" is "A Ministry of the American Association of Christian Counselors Foundation (AACC)" and is available from the Light University in Forest, VA. The DVD Lectures are conducted via Christian personnel that are professionals in their fields. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to complete the "Counseling Program", and I have learned much about counseling and/or helping others. I believe that through the journey of life, anyone may continue to learn and, of course, continue to glean wisdom from the Holy Word of God, namely "The Bible".
