Dear
Reader: The article of January 21 and January 22, 2008 refers to
"A Dream/Vision" and appears in the middle of this web
page. The following paragraphs were copied from the web page that is
located via http://www.haloministries.net/DreamsVisionsPg1.htm and
gives an in-depth commentary about dreams and/or visions. The
paragraphs read as follows . . .
"When
viewing and reading the HALO MINISTRIES' Dreams and/or Visions, may you be
open minded - no matter what your denominational stand. Dreams and
Visions were prominent in Bible Times and, certainly, Godly Dreams and/or
Visions are prominent in this day and age. Caution should always be in
the forefront when discerning and/or comprehending a Spiritual Dream and/or
Vision. The five questions - as stated in one of the following
paragraphs - are always good questions to ask when discerning and/or reading
about today's Dreams and/or Visions.
"Ultimately,
God hears and sees what is being done with the Dreams and/or Visions that
come from the Heavenly Portal where God, His angels, and saints reside.
"May
your heart be blessed, and may you find the ultimate peace that God gives
through Christ Jesus that died and rose again victoriously for me and for
you. (JOHN 3:16)
Johanna
"On
September 20, 2001, I recorded the thoughts about the Subject entitled 'VISIONS AND/OR DREAMS.'
"Although
much is gleaned from the Bible about 'Visions,' today (9-20-2001) I was
pondering about the video that I, my husband, and my son viewed. The video
spoke about a person that prophesied about America.
"(November
8, 2001) God does reveal Himself via Godly Dreams and/or Visions in
today's society, thus signifying a revelation for the individual and/or
for these End Times. In the event that God, via His Holy Spirit,
encourages me to expand upon the subject of Visions and/or Dreams, I
will then obediently expand upon this subject and share many more Godly
Dreams and/or Visions that have occurred (or are occurring).
"When
hearing about Visions and/or Dreams that an individual shares, I,
personally, question the validity of that person.
QUESTIONS
. . .
1.
Does the person have faith in the Living God? (Hebrews
11:6)
2.
Is he or she living a Godly Life?
3.
Is that person a believer in God's Word?
(Psalm
119:105)
4.
Does the Vision or Dream line up with God's Word?
(Acts
2:17 and 18)
5.
What is the purpose of the Dream and/or Vision? (Romans
8:28)

DREAM/VISION

This
morning (January 21, 2008) I awakened suddenly. While looking at the
clock, the time that was shown was 4:42 a.m. I immediately recalled
the dream/vision that seemed so very real. Because of the
dream/vision of that morning, my thoughts continued to focus upon "THE
RETURN OF THE LORD" as outlined in the Holy Scripture, namely The Bible,
the "Word of God".
In
the dream/vision, I was in an area that was surrounded by numerous people
that stood within the group. It seemed as though I knew the group of
people, but I did not specifically know who the individuals are. In
the dream/vision, my husband and I had a trailer in the area where the
group of people were standing. In the dream/vision, I knew beyond a
shadow of a doubt that the dwelling place of the trailer seemed like a
security component. The "RETURN OF THE LORD" was uppermost upon
one’s heart. The people were encouraged to be ready for the "Lord's
Return".
There was a definite excitement in the air.
There was a definite security and anticipation in the air. I walked
over to my brother-in-law and took my two hands and squeezed his
face. Was that for comforting one another?
After
awakening from the dream/vision and while thinking about that secure
feeling of having the trailer in the dream/vision, my thoughts focused
upon the Bible Noah. The Bible Noah and his family were safe and
secure in the ark after God closed the door.
(Genesis 7:16; Matthew 24:36,37,38)
Comments:
Dreams and/or visions, that people experience, may have special
significance in their lives. The foregoing dream/vision cannot
totally be described with words; however, its significance indicates that
I must be ready for the possibility that Christ’s Return to this earth
may be soon. The Bible tells us in Matthew
24:6 "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be
not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not
yet."
While
Jesus walked this earth during his 33 years, He encouraged many
people. The encouragement from the Holy Scripture also applies to
this day and age. Within the Matthew
24:6 Jesus said:
"see that ye be not troubled".
I
was a young child when my parents, siblings, and I journeyed through World
War II. Undoubtedly my parents and many people were troubled and
prayed earnestly to the God of Heaven during such devastating times.
Prayer is a communication to the Heavenly Father and through Jesus we may
bring our petitions for daily help. None of us knows when Jesus will
return; however, I Thessalonians
4:16-18
is a powerful antidote against the fear of the future.
I
am grateful for the knowledge of knowing Jesus Christ as my Saviour,
Shepherd, Lord of lords, and Soon-coming King.
When
will Jesus return? Jesus
tells us: "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the
hour wherein the Son of man cometh". (Matthew 25:13)
It
is interesting to note that the Heavenly Father has not told Jesus when He
is to return to earth so that He may take the believers into the Glorious
Eternity. Jesus, however, tells us "Watch!".
In other
words, be ready from day to day. I heard sermons from Pastors that
preached about the "RETURN
OF CHRIST"
and cautioned the people by saying "PERHAPS
TODAY"!
(January
22, 2008) During a televised program today, I listened briefly to the
ending of the religious program that featured the Rev. John Hagee. What a
blessing the final few minutes of that telecast was to me! Toward
the end of the TV broadcast, Rev. Hagee made
the following statements:
"God
still lets the sun shine!
"God still lets the rain fall from the sky!
"The Old time Religion may irritate people ,and bury the secular
beliefs, etc.!"
Rev.
Hagee continued to preach, and he stated: "Jesus Christ could come in 30
seconds - Get Ready!"
Additional
Comments from Johanna . . .
There is a chorus that states:
"There is room at
the cross for you! There is room at the cross for you! 'Though
millions have come,
but there is still room for one, there is room at the cross for you (me)!"
