[June 16, 2002] On June 13-15, 2002, I experienced pain that made my days and nights uncomfortable. On June 13-14, I awakened my husband to pray for me; however, the uncomfortable, oftentimes painful feeling persisted. My husband encouraged me to see a physician if I did not improve. I trusted the Lord so that a healing would take place. When Saturday, June 15, 2002, arrived, we were to attend a Sonshine Circle event; however, that event could not be attended. [The Sonshine Circle is a group of elderly people that faithfully attend the church where I and my husband worship.]
This morning, June 16, 2002, I am so delighted that my pain is totally gone, and I give my Healing Physician, the Lord Jesus Christ, all the glory for the Healing Power that flows from God’s Throne.
This morning - June 16, 2002, Father’s Day - I am rejoicing about the healing I received from the last 3-day illness. I am also grateful that I am able to attend God’s House this morning.
The poem entitled “THE MAKING OF A DIAMOND” was written today, June 16th. Mankind was created with emotions. God also has given talents and/or abilities to mankind. Prose and poetry oftentimes express the emotion or the spiritual insight that a Christian has. Today, I had the privilege to express the emotion of my heart. “THE MAKING OF A DIAMOND” not only speaks about myself, but, also, may define the human/spiritual side of many Christians.
