THE
PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

[June
19, 2004] This article entitled "THE
PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS"
encompasses a partial philosophical view from my viewpoint; and, yet, it
takes a truthful look at life in general.
Within
the secular realm, there are companies that have diversified businesses;
and, those diversified businesses comprise services that are conducive to
a community, the city, the state, the country, and the far-reaching
corners of the world.
When
viewing the Christian world, you have churches of varying sizes, and
people are drawn to individual churches for various reasons.
My
Bible tells me in Matthew 16:18 and
19:
"And
I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build
my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
"And
I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and
whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and
whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
Just
as the "secular businesses" serve the needs of the people, the
Church offers its people a continuous service of encouraging, admonishing,
and/or teaching a God-given journey as recorded from God's Holy Word.
Churches
are not built for weddings, baby dedications, or funerals only. The
Bible talks specifically about the great Churches of the past. The
first Pentecostal Church took place in an upper room with 120
people. Prayer, of course, was a prerequisite to the Holy Spirit
enduing or showering the people with the Power from Heaven [Acts
Chapter Two].
Indeed,
God is everywhere and His Power may be revealed to any earnestly seeking
heart!
A
powerful Scripture Verse tells me:
"For
I know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we
have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the
heavens."
The
eternal home, of course, is the dwelling place in Heaven with God and His
Saints, the born-again Believers from the ages past and from the present
time [John 3:16].
As
a born-again believer, my earnest desire is to continue to walk the
"THE PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS" that includes utilizing the
God-given talent of Christian Writings.
Recently,
I awkwardly spoke to the Sr. Pastor of the church that I attend. It
was after an evangelistic teaching that I shared a portion of the
following, truthful scenario:
Many,
Many years ago, I stood at a window. While pondering about eternal
values and the people of the world, a Heavenly Sensation came over
me. God spoke to my heart and said: "There is a dying
world out there!" From then on, I was made an
intercessor.
[Oh,
how I desired to be an intercessor prior to the forgoing happening!
I wanted to be an intercessor because I thought such a calling would add
prestige to my Christian walk with the Lord.]
And,
then, in the quiet prayer chamber I interceded for people to get to know
Christ as Saviour. [Many years ago] the intercession for souls was,
at times, so heavy on my heart, that I had to pray for the Lord to relieve
that intercessory burden. It was then that it was impressed upon my

It
is awesome to me that many, many years ago God told me, "there is a
dying world out there!" Since then, I have had the privilege to
intercede and write many Christian writings. Through divine
direction, I was able to comprise the Halo Ministries' Website.
[Websites created by professional designers is costly.] It is
absolutely awesome that the Halo Ministries reaches people throughout the
world with its message of the Saving Grace of God.
I
conclude this article entitled "THE
PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS" with a
poem entitled "My Master".

MY
MASTER
My
Lord and I shall walk this life together
Until
eternal sunrise breaks at last
Until
through tear-stained eyes I see Him
With
all the saints who lived in ages past.
My
Master, who once hung--despised, rejected
Upon
a cruel cross of Calvary
Has
saved me and has altered my perspective
By
faith in Him I will live eternally.
Each
day I sense the wonder of His Presence
And
marvel at His love, unfailing kind
I
look to Him for guidance and direction
Submitting
Spirit, Body, Soul, and Mind.
