(01/5/2005;
02/10/05) Today I had an opportunity to read several articles that
were written some time ago. I came across an article entitled “WHEN
WILL JESUS RETURN?”.
Please understand that I do not claim to be a superior Christian writer;
however, I am of the firm belief that God - via His Holy Spirit - can and
does impart abilities and talents as He desires. Such a talent is
somewhat pronounced within the following article: /JH
WHEN
WILL JESUS RETURN? (A Look At The End Time Years)
Written
by Johanna Hobrath (August 31, 2002)
The
United States of America has many “Houses of Worship”. That
statement can also be applied to the rest of the world.
Because
“the Presence of God” is omnipresent (present everywhere), I or you can
worship our wonderful Creator wherever we may be. [Genesis
1:31]
God
desires communion with His Children; namely, born-again believers. [John
3:16] God
also desires that everyone come to repentance. [II
Peter 3:9]
“God
is a God of Love!” His attributes are innumerable, and “His Holy
Presence” flows continuously from “His Holy Heaven.”
A
child of God will desire to worship in the House of God. The private
prayer closet (wherever you desire to seek God in prayer) can become the
place that you treasure. In that precious surrounding, His Presence
can fill the heart and soul; and, thus, the communion with God becomes more
enriching than your earthly food. [Psalm
34:8] (Of
course, earthly nourishment is needed in order to survive on earth.)
However,
the daily communion with God can bring you to a new awareness of His
Presence. God desires to give you spiritual blessings; however, the choice
of such a blessing is totally dependent upon the person who desires to
receive such a blessing.
I
believe that in these “End Time Years” God is looking for a people that
will sincerely seek His Presence. We can intercede for a time that is
presently at hand; and, for Godly protection for the time to come.
We
do live in awesome times. The Christian complacency may sometimes be
seen all around us -- from the smallest sheep to the larger sheep (the laity
in a church, to the clergy in a church.)
Prayer
and more prayer is the answer. Through prayer (no matter what your
status in trials and circumstances) your life can be refined; and, your
status as a Christian can take you to spiritual height that is pleasing in
God’s sight.
Spiritual
refining precedes a “Spiritual Revival.” The Holy Spirit’s Power
refines and shows you the spiritual condition. Changes may have to be
made, lifestyles may have to be changed, and a complacent life can become a
life that is enthusiastic for the “things of God.”
The
Christian oftentimes is asked to accomplish tasks that are not suitable to
his or her liking; however, doing “the Heavenly Father’s Will” is a
sign of Christian maturity.
In
these End Time Years, we must march like soldiers against the onslaught of
Satan. And, as part of the Christian Army, I know who wins. [Revelation
3:21]
My
marching orders lead me to heaven; and, my Commander-in-Chief, the Lord
Jesus Christ, gives orders via the Holy Spirit. God sees the battles
in one’s life; however, be assured that victory is always the outcome.
Be
a prayer partner; and, thus, be a soldier in the Army of the Lord. And, what
are His Orders?

that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame,

On
August 31, 2002, I and my husband returned from a memorial service.
The memorial service was conducted for an elderly woman that went to her
eternal reward at the age of 83. The service was beautiful. The
lovely tribute was given to her because of her Christ-like living; and, such
living touched many hearts and lives. One song, that was sung during
the memorial service, is entitled “TEN
THOUSAND YEARS.”
Scripture
tells me in II
Peter 3:8: “The
Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as
some men count
slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should
perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
When reaching eternity, time will no longer be a concern.
When
I and my husband returned from the memorial service, I viewed a program from
the television screen. The program that was viewed, was a tribute on
behalf of Princess Diana. The wedding ceremony was beautiful. On
the day of Diana’s and Princess Charles’ wedding, the people of Great
Britain paid an awesome tribute. Countries all over the world idolized
the lovely Diana. The pictures of her great beauty is to this day a
photographer’s dream. However, her young life came to a sudden halt;
but the memories of her accomplishments and love for mankind continue to be
remembered.
[You
or I do not know when our life will be called into the eternity of one's
choosing.]
I
believe that in these End Time Years, the Spirit of God reveals himself in
our daily lives. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit will quicken His
Powerful Presence that tells mankind that “the
Hour of the Return of Christ”
is drawing near. Matthew
24:42 tells us:
“Watch
therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
The
believer in Christ need not be afraid. We are secure in Christ when
accepting His Forgiveness that was accomplished at the Cross of Calvary for
all mankind.
WHEN
WILL CHRIST RETURN?
Jesus said: “But
of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my
Father only.” [Matthew 24:36]
The
following segment of the article “WHEN
WILL CHRIST RETURN?”
continues to speak about the End Time Happenings.
Many
people differ when the discussion about the Bible arises. It has been
stated, in essence, “When the Bible was completed, that is all we need to
know.” If, indeed, that is the case, we then do not need Preachers
of God’s Word, or Theologians, or many of the Expounders of the Bible.
The
Bible, in essence, is “the Guideline for the Path to Heaven.”
Jesus told His disciples: “And
this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness
unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” [Matthew 24:14]
“Go
ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to
observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with
you alway, even unto the end of the world.” Amen. [Matthew
28:19,20]
Preachers,
Theologians, and other Teachers that expound God’s Holy Word are very much
needed in these desperate End Time Hours so that people may be guided to the
road that leads to Heaven.
While
Jesus walked this earth, He taught His disciples about Kingdom Living.
Jesus encouraged His disciples to share the good news of Salvation.
Also, as Christians, His disciples encouraged others to live a holy
Christian life. The apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians. His
writings centered around the love that a Christian may display in his or her
life. I
Corinthians 13:1 and 2 tells
us: “Though
I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am
become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have
the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and
though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not
charity, I am nothing.”
It
is, indeed, important that “charity” [Christian love] be given.
Can
you ponder upon the situations in your life, whereby you may state “Yes,
indeed, having love toward 'such and such' is more difficult than practicing
the gift of prophecy?”
Please
understand, there are varieties of "loves".
The
love toward Jesus is of a spiritual scope. Such love will be a
decisive factor, and extends over to your day-to-day relationships with
others.

When will Jesus return?
It
is important that you or I be ready when Jesus returns!
"Are
there clouds in the sky? Perhaps Today!"
