THE
SIGNS
OF
THE TIME

Last
evening, January 5, 2005, my husband and I were privileged to view and listen
to a special program from the television screen. The Billy Graham
Crusade featured a Crusade that had taken place in Hamilton, Canada. The
Dr. Graham so profoundly spoke about the necessity of being spiritually alive.
In order to be spiritually alive, it is necessary to accept Jesus Christ into
one’s heart and life.
Recently,
I recorded, into one of my journals, a "Spiritual Happening" that I
entitled "The Signs of the Time." We do live in awesome times.
The occurrences on the stage of the world scene reminds me so very much of
what Jesus said in Matthew,
Chapter 24.
Also, the 24th
Chapter speaks
about the occurrences that will take place during the seven-year tribulation
period.
On
January 4th (2005), God permitted me to have a "Spiritual
Experience."
This occurrence was written into a journal that reads as follows:

I awakened at 3:30 a.m. today. I then prayed for people that come into
my life. I
then sensed as if Jesus was walking among a group of people. I sensed
that I was walking through the crowd so that I could be near Jesus.
I
then questioned the Lord, "Lord, why is there a group of people?"
The
Answer: "JESUS WILL BRING HEALING AND HOPE TO HURTING NATIONS.
THERE WILL BE A GREATER INGATHERING OF SOULS INTO THE HEAVENLY KINGDOM, AND
ANGELS IN HEAVEN WILL REJOICE. THIS IS THE SIGNS OF THE TIME . . .
."

The current newspapers, magazines, and other news media are reporting the
devastation of the horrendous "Tsunami" that occurred in the regions
of the (*)Pacific and Indian Oceans.

In
sad circumstances people will ask: "Where in the world is God in all
this"? Today (01-06-05) I read a profound Devotional that was
written by Peggie C. Bohanon. The Devotional is entitled "Where in
the World Are You?" The article may be read via http://www.peggiesplace.com/words17.htm.
When
I read the article "Where in the World Are You?", it also spoke to
my heart. I believe most of us have faced dire circumstances in the
past, or may face such circumstances in the future; and. therefore, have or
may petition the God of Heaven for an intervention.
When
reading and viewing today’s news (January 2005), it is indescribable to
realize that thousands of lives were lost and thousands of lives are facing
horrendous survival situations because of the "Tsunami" that
occurred in the surrounding areas of the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
Because of the "Tsunami" occurrence, many nations have compassion
and are, therefore, sending supplies and monetary assistance to the regions
devastated by the “Tsunami”.
The
following two Scripture Verses give assurance that the God of Heaven is with
us in sad times; and, during those times, God can be our refuge:
