article entitled "A BEAUTIFUL ORANGE FLOWER," I am directed to add

BEAUTIFUL ORANGE FLOWER -

Yesterday,
May 19, 2004, I stood in a sanctuary of a church. After the service,
many people were in line for the purpose of the laying on of hands and
prayer. The Precious Presence of the Lord was an awesome experience that
evening!
Also,
that evening, a tremendous lesson was taught. When you accept
"Salvation in Christ Jesus," you are a "New Creature in
Christ." The Scripture admonishes us that as a "new creature
in Christ" [II Corinthians 5:17],
old things are passed away. In other words, your desires will be after
the things of God and, thus, pleasing God in the day-to-day life.
Be
assured, however, that, at times, my and/or your old nature will want to take
dominion in the dedicated Godly life.
The
illustrated sermon that evening [May 19, 2004] was awesome. The coat
jacket from a suit represented the Godly life. The evangelist then wore
the suit jacket on one arm and placed a light suit jacket (representative of
the old life) into his other arm. Yes, this all was humorous.
I
believe as Scripture tells us: "You cannot serve God and
Satan." [Matthew
6:24]
I,
as a Christian, have often said, "we are not living in heaven
yet." Temptations and tribulations do come to all of us.
However, I am convinced that desiring to live a sanctified life helps me to
check my position in Christ.
Last
evening [May 19, 2004], while the people stood in line and were being prayed
for, my heart and soul was in tune with the God of Heaven. And, then, I
saw an orange flower [comparable to the flowers from Hawaii] that continued to
open up. God then spoke to my heart as if to say: "You are a
fragrant flower unto me!" My answer: "Thank you,
God."
