HEALTH
FOR
BODY,
SOUL,
AND
SPIRIT!

Whenever a New Year comes into focus, undoubtedly people make
statements such as: "What will the New Year bring?" When focusing on
the by-gone year of 2008, much has occurred in the sector of world
situations. The many updated news can be heard and/or seen via the radio
and the television stations. When focusing on the negative aspects of
the news, people may become discouraged. Although I, as a Christian
writer, do follow the updated news, my life also focuses on the upkeep
of every-day living. The every-day living includes dwelling in the
presence of God through prayer and meditation on the Word of God;
namely, the Holy Scripture that is the Word of God . . . . . . . "The
BIBLE".
"What will the New Year bring?"
When focusing on the positive
aspect, I am trusting God for the health of my body, soul, and spirit;
and, of course, that positive outlook is also wished for family and
friends. When hearing about hurtful situations - whether day-to-day
negative occurrences in the lifestyle of family and friends and/or
negative occurrences because of health situations - I seek God on behalf
of those circumstances that bring sorrow and/or pain to family and/or
friends.
Without painting a negative picture, the fact remains that none of us
live on this earth forever. Some people suffer more than others; and the
suffering is often not understood, or may bring the question:
"Why?".
Recently an elderly lady friend of mine shared a beautiful picture
that she has displayed in her parlor. The picture showed Christ holding
two small children. She then indicated that the picture reminds her of
the twins that died. The small twin children may have gone from this
earth; however, I said to her: "Some day, "_", you will see those
children again in heaven."
The title of this Newsletter speaks about
"HEALTH FOR BODY, SOUL,
AND SPIRIT".
Our earthly body will pass away some day; however, the
transformed body will live on in the eternity of your and/or my choice.
